Re: G2 Startup file
It seems you just have to add the path with the executable to the file above the 'exit 0' Here is an example: "............... #!/bin/sh -e # # rc.local # # This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel. # Make sure that the script will "exit 0" on success or any other...

Any audio dropout issues?
The last version i have tested had noticeable audio dropouts unlike a much older version i used before, but i don't recall which version.

Re: linHPSDR with some bug fixes
Hi, nice to see linHPSDR isn't completely dead! What distro are You running linHPSDR on? I guess a requirement still is that it must base on Debian or Ubuntu but what version? A .deb package would be nice but i hope for an appimage or a flatpak version in the future, regardless how far! Bernhard , D...

Re: CFC Stays On with Over-the-Air Record Playback
Ok Scott! Didn't know the problem was already reported. Would be less an issue if there were buttons for CFC Comp and Equ on the gui like the "classic" comp and eq. Anyway, not a be big deal as long as the user is aware of this pob but I hope there will be a solution which makes deactivati...

Re: CFC Stays On with Over-the-Air Record Playback
Hi Ron! This is what I had been mentioning over three years ago too. https://apache-labs.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2515&p=3340&hilit=dl1of#p3340 But obviously nobody else is interested in this issue. I often hear Anan users ignorantly playing back recordings through the CFC Comp ...

Automatically deactivate CFC and Post CFC EQ
Hello Group, first i like to say Thank You to all who are contributing to this great project and community! I believe there is currently no way to have the CFC as well as Post CFC EQ automatically deactivated while transmitting a recording by the GUI playback button? Just like COMP and TX EQ is deac...

Rob, thank You for the hint! Didn't know Herman had released a new version.. It's a beauty! Although i like what i have i wish all the developers could work on this sw to bring it to a final package! But i know that's not possible. These are two different pair of shoes. It's an old saying here in Ge...

Re: PowerSDR mRX PS 3.4.1 released
Doug, Chris, Warren and s.o., thank You again for the great work! However i have noticed an unusual behavior of the swr meter that doesn't show any indication below about 5 watt of power out even at very high ratios like 1:5 and more! Resetting the database did not solve the issue and i don't see su...

Re: ANAN-100B Pure Signal Connection
Phil and Scott, i can only marvel whenever i bring up Your QRZ.com page, Phil. Oh boy, so much work! I'm convinced Your solution is the best possible! But around -60dBm crosstalk means plenty of isolation, i think! And i do not see much variation of that number over the bands here as well. And these...

Re: ANAN-100B Pure Signal Connection
Scott and Stu, I can and have done that. I have a cheap USB SDR stick that I use. It's sensitivity is way down in HF but it is sufficient to see the signal from my nearby antenna at 500W. I never took a critical look at the output of the 200D I was borrowing, but my 100D with external feedback switc...

Re: ANAN-100B Pure Signal Connection
Scott, out of curiosity, are You able to compare the spectrum Your Anan shows to an external device while performing a two-tone test? Is there any difference at all? Especially on the higher bands! I'm asking because of this posting from Warren: Remember, PS corrects whatever it sees. If it sees a d...

Re: ANAN-100B Pure Signal Connection
Stu, thank You for the comprehensive explanation. Unfortunately i had my Anan-100 modified so I'm not able to perform the test again., and, i agree, i haven't documented all that. And I'm not in possession of a device which could show my tx signal anymore. Stu, are these equations entirely applicabl...

Re: ANAN-100B Pure Signal Connection
Scott, where did You see the -50dBc? On the same 200D You were transmitting with? Do not take that for granted because You see a mixed spectrum from the ext. sampler and the internal crosstalk! And PS tries to correct that mix which can appear quite good on your own screen but not so good on another...

Re: ANAN-100B Pure Signal Connection
Joe, be aware that the internal crosstalk, even on a Rev.24 LPF board is quite high and, depending on the drive level, will not improve Your IM3 much. At least on the higher bands! In my case, i had seen even a deterioration of IM3 on 15 Meters and up when i was running PS from an external sampling ...

Re: Hermes Protocol 2 firmware v10.3 released
If you have the Apache Labs ANAN version of Hermes Abhi has stated several times that the onboard SMPS supply can handle the supply demands of the 1G protocol and if you are running the ANAN-100 you already have a separate 5v supply mounted on the base plate. Again, Abhi has indicated that it can h...

Hi Group,
does that issue mean for those, who aren't able to run their Hermes based Transceivers with additional 5Volt supply will never be able to make use of a 1 GBit protocol?

Re: Hermes Protocol 1 firmware: Version 3.2
Phil, according to Abhi's posting from 2014 the 17/15 Meter LPF is used for TX on 12 Meters on the Anan radios but that looks different on the Realese Notes for the Hermes10_v3.2b.rbf Firmware! - Modified LPF_select.v to use 12/10m LPF when on 15m for use with ANAN-10 and 100. Can You clarify this?

Re: Hermes Protocol 1 firmware: Version 3.2
It would seem the only substantive change is to bring the SPI write scheme into alignment with the other firmware versions. If you are not having relay switching problems then there is really no advantage in upgrading from 3.1 to 3.2. Indeed, if no one is having these problems on the 10 or 100B it ...

Re: Hermes Protocol 1 firmware: Version 3.2
It isn't an actual Problem. It just is the different Anan LPF arrangement ! When You press the Alex-Button the Firmware, not PowerSDR determines which LPF is chosen, right? And our Anan radio LPF's differ somewhat from the classic Alex filters, right? I guess on 12 Meter, the correct LPF is the one ...
