Vin,
This is really good to hear. It sounds like Apache Labs is addressing their customer service and contact issues. They have a really great product line and service with communication before, during, and after the sale really matters utmost.
Thanks,

Glad it helped. I have to be reminded quite often to save the transmit profile for the same reason when making changes, etc.

Re: VAC on at startup?
After you check the vac box the go to the transmit tab and do a profile save and I believe the next time you start it should come up checked.

Re: USB/BCD Cable option in OC Control
I know this is different from the usb - relay setup but another option is using the OC outputs with a bcd board. I use one supplied by W6PQL, works very well with the Anan. Hope you get it worked out. I added the photo of the board (lower left side), in my amp.

Hello Ritchie and Ernst,

Re: G2: Pure Signal Fails to Alter Output Despite Thetis Indicators Saying Its Working
Please, just as a point of clarity, would someone post the correct “setpk” values for the different Anan models? I take it, that there is a table in the code for the proper selection.
Thanks,

Re: Shipping Updates
I just wanted to mention, the Noctua fans that Abhi used in this design are very quiet. I modified the circuitry in my meanwell power supply to install these and all of the difference for quietness in use, very pleased with noise abatement. For all who have this unit on order, this sure looks great ...

Great, glad you got it going. I know it can be frustrating but when one thing fails you back up and try something else. Also, you posting results hopefully helps someone else.

Re: Is Bootloader working OK for people who are running Windows 11?
Not sure if you tried this yet but re-name the .rbf file to Metis.rbf. If you have done this already, I apologize for repeating. I had the hang up on the "erasing" step; I kept stopping and starting and finally it went to the next step of "programming", very slow too. It had actually erased the ...

Re: Is Bootloader working OK for people who are running Windows 11?
One thing you might try is try to connect without the Ethernet cable plugged in and see if the same error comes up? You may try completely removing the bootloader software and reinstalling with admin rights and check properties on the software after downloading, I make sure I check the “unblock ...

Re: Is Bootloader working OK for people who are running Windows 11?
I believe Scott is correct in getting you into the network adapter area, you do not seem to be connecting at all with the bootloader. My failure along with a few others was after actually connecting, I could see a connection indication; even change ip information. For me it was locking up during the ...

Re: Is Bootloader working OK for people who are running Windows 11?
I wasn’t sure if the adapter settings had any effect on the bootloader, it was coming up with the correct MAC address. I am connected straight from the pc to the radio, no switch involved. I was hoping that the static ip address was ok as the bootloader was connecting fine. Now I know to leave the ...

Re: Is Bootloader working OK for people who are running Windows 11?
I am running win 11 pro, the last time I used the bootloader to upgrade I was using win 10. I did finally get the latest protocol 2 @ version 2.2 loaded after approximately 4 hours of back and forth working with different scenarios to load it. I have an 8000dle. The bootloader finds and recognized ...

Re: BCD output from OC interface
I’m sorry for replying so late. The schematic is at the bottom of the posting, hopefully that helps but honestly as Scott mentioned the fixed resistors would be an easier route. I would fuse the circuit just for added protection. I had to go back into that small db9 connector later for another ...

Re: BCD output from OC interface
You can’t directly supply a bcd “high” output, but I did make a small interface that fit in a db9 enclosure that I use for my amplifier band “bcd” interface. It works very well. You may have another approach, hope this helps. Please check out this posting here from some time back.

Re: Thetis starting with standard frequency
Something just became clear on this error from the earlier versions, this debug error came up at Thetis exit which makes sense this is when the tx - save on EXIT doesn’t happen, possibly a complete proper exit didn’t take place.
