Thetis v2.9.0.6 - SDC Skimmer - frequency difference
Hi, I would like to highlight a problem I had configuring SDC-Skimmer to make it work with Thetis. Everything is fine configuring SDC Control Type with " Audio + TCI ". Anyway I noticed a little frequency difference in the signals shown in SDC and the signals shown in Thetis panadapter. Wi...

Re: Auto AGC RX - Odd behaviour
I am sorry for not having read the "Thetis 2.9.0" main thread, I should have searched better. The important thing it is the correct behaviour. Actually I didn't said I installed the latest release (2.9.0.6 x64) because I was trying to fix a problem with TCI and SDC-Skimmer. Anyway I'll rea...

Auto AGC RX - Odd behaviour
Hello, I am having a odd behaviour when I enable the Auto AGC-RX1 function. As you can see in the picture below, I have to set a very high value (26db) to keep the threshold few db over the noise floor level. I don't know what I am missing but it seems I have inadvertently set a 20db offset somewher...

Recording Thetis while using CW Skimmer
Hi,
I am wondering how can be recorded the audio and the screen while using Thetis and CW Skimmer.
I can't find a way to feed the audio stream to Bandicam because VAC-1 is dedicated to the I/Q stream and VAC-2 is dedicated only to the RX-2.
Thank you in advance for any help

Re: Anan 7000 DLE - Proper RX-Antenna configuration
Hi, thank you very much for the further clarification. Considering I am planning to use a power amplifier a 30ms delay is not so bad. As Scott pointed out it is unavoidable and it happens on other rigs as well. The important things are not damaging the rig and be on air with a understandable code. B...

Re: Anan 7000 DLE - Proper RX-Antenna configuration
Hello, thank you very much for your answers. I have to confirm what Gary said: i have no issue in SSB mode using the mic PTT or the MOX Thetis button. The problem is only in CW mode and as suggested, after having set Key Up and Key Down both to 30mS, it was solved. Now, it is still not clear for me ...

Anan 7000 DLE - Proper RX-Antenna configuration
Hi, I connected a RX terminated loop on my 7000-DLE ANT-2 connector. I am planning to use it on 20/30/40/80/160m so I configured the Antenna control as in the picture below. ANT-Control.jpg Ant-1 should be the only transmitting antenna. The problem is that, each time I start transmitting, Thetis (2....

Hello, I would like to view the transmitted signal in the panadapter, mostly when I am working in split. Anan 7000 DLE - Odd ping behaviour
Hello, I am observing a odd behavior looking at the network connection of my Anan 7000 DLE (blue). The rig is loaded with the UPDATE 2.0b 10 Feb 2020 firmware and I set up a fixed IP ( 192.168.0.14 ). Having it a fixed IP Address I expect that a ping -t 192.168.0.14 command constantly returns a vali...

Re: HTTP Server?
Hi, it seems that it is more than a plan. A headless RPI next to any Anan rig would implement the client/server model you talked about before. It is also the same design used in ExpertSDR Remote System. I hope it will be released asap (y) Best 73' Enzo, iw7dmh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEgcAgh...

Thetis 2.8.11 - CWSkimmer
Hi, I am having some problems making Thetis 2.8.11 and CW-Skimmer 2.1 working together. I followed the guidelines by Rafael, NN3RP, that I found in a previous tread https://apache-labs.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3273&p=11252 : CW-Skimmer can read Thetis frequency (via Omnirig-TS2000) ...

Re: Controller V2 and PC communication
Hi,
this was not my initial question, anyway I am more familiar with PC software and I find Thetis interface a bit odd and sometimes difficult to use.
PiHPSDR is very nice and meets all recent usability requirements.
Using a smart console and a PC could be a good solution, mostly during a contest.

Hello, I have some questions about the V2 Controller. I am wondering if the overall RX performance is the same as Thetis client. Apart from the reduced samplerate, I suppose the RX performance is the same probably because the WDSP lib is the same in both programs, but I am not sure. Also I am wonder...

Hello Scott,
thank you for the clarification. I had just seen the minimum samplerate I can set up in Thetis (48KHz).
I am sorry for having asked the question in the wrong section of the Community.
Maybe you can move the whole discussion in the right place.

Hi Gary, still don't but I will. I am collecting infos from some time now because, unfortunately in my region nobody own an Anan rig. Hello, I would like to know the typical network bandwidth usage of a 7000DLE and which are the Thetis parameters to be set for increasing or decreasing it. Ok Laurence this make sense. Looking at the initial picture I was assuming the interface would be simplified.
