A friend of mine, who is 1km from my QTH, using a new Yaesu 991A with 100w was showing on my panadapter a wide 40 to 60 KHz signal full of splatter.
It seems that this radio has serious transmission filter problems.

The problem is not with the 10MHz port, it is when a 50 Ohm connector is plugged into the XVRT port.

Check in the registry that the throttling index tweak is correctly applied.
After a few Windows updates, it reverts to its default values.

Ben is running his radio remotely over the Internet, but on his radio end he has a microwave link to his Internet provider (no fiber available at his summer house).
I know this because I helped him set up his OpenVPN server and client.

Re: Remote Access to Anan
You can use any new client version, but you must delete the TAP interface and install an old one.
Go to https://build.openvpn.net/downloads/releases/
And download this version:
tap-windows-9.23.3-I601-Win10.exe
This is the latest TAP version that worked fine for me.

Michael, my first OpenVPN server ran for years on a dedicated RPi4.
Later I moved to a low power (8-10w) Windows Mini PC (Intel N100 and 16 gigs of ram) and it was night and day.
Now my VPN connections are more reliable and faster.

Yes, my solution is to use the latest working diver for Windows TAP (dated in 2019). My VPN setup works fantastic for remoting my radio.
If SDRConsole also failed, it is not the same problem as with my VPN and the initialization packet.
I have assumed that your vpn is configured in bridged mode ...

For anyone who might be interested, I just upgraded to Windows 11 version 24H2 and then had to reapply the network throttling index tweak because the upgrade changed the registry values.

Try to force link speed to 1Gb, instead of using auto negotiation, in ethernet adapter that connects to your Anan.

Richie,
Is there any way to detect the change of value of a variable?
I have created a text overlay that shows the azimuth of the rotor (%DdoE.AZ%), but I would like it to "pulsate" (using a led indicator) while the rotor is moving.
Is it possible?
