Re: piHPSDR -- Latest Releases and Release Notes

I also run PiHPSDR on a Raspberry PI 4B and on my Windows PC under Hyper-V Manager, the Windows virtual machine under Kali-Linux. I don't have an Anana7000DLE MKII but a Red Pitaya, also with protocol 2. I suspect that you still have an installation problem. There are two ways of installation in the...

Re: Adjust Audio Level in playback Recording

When sending, check whether the Master AF control is too wide open.

The setting of the Master AF control must be set differently for RX/TX.

Re: Receiver Recording

When playing back an audio recording without pressing the PTT or MOX button and with the CTUN button pressed, you cannot hear the audio recording if you are not exactly in the middle of the band. With the PTT or MOX button pressed, you can hear the audio recording because the TX FIlter is on the cor...

Re: Transmit Record ability lost

You can now record your own audio signal, with and without EQ or CFC. If you record audio with MIC, you hear your audio without EQ or CFC and with Transmitter Output I/Q you hear yourself as others hear you. So press PTT, start REC, stop REC and then press PTT and Play to play. The audio assessment ...

Re: Thetis Accessibility for the Blind

Hello, I had a thought about your topic, Thetis can also be controlled via a DJ controller, you can assign all the important functions to buttons or knobs. The VFOs A and B can also be operated in this way. I have installed a DJ controller from Hercules, the MP3LE is available cheaply on the Interne...

Re: Thetis v2.10.3.5 Pre-Release

Hello Richie, I would also like to say thank you for your great work for us radio amateurs. I would like to add a request here, it would be nice if I could go on the air immediately after a Audio recording and then pressing the play button, without having to press the MOX button or the PTT button fi...

Don't you have to connect the headset USB to the Raspberry, that's how I do it with my Red Pitaya.

Re: Understanding G7KLJ 2.9.0.11 release

Hello Jörg, cycle through the protocol list until protocol 2 appears. For protocol 2, the checkbox must not have a tick. Hello Sigi, thanks for the information, I had found it too, unfortunately the protocol setting was not saved. Now I installed the v2.9.0.14 (currently there is only the x86 at Gi...

Re: Understanding G7KLJ 2.9.0.11 release

NJ2US, thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I can't select Protocoll 2, it then immediately jumps to auto detect, Protocol 1 I can select, but there is no check mark either, just a dash. Greetings Jörg PS I managed it now, if protocol 2 is in the window without check mark, I can enter 386k, but...

Re: Understanding G7KLJ 2.9.0.11 release

I had installed the version 2.9.0.11 on my computer and operate with it a Red Pitaya 16bit with protocol 2, is displayed under General H/W Select the firmware Ver. 2.7.0 ID: OrionMKII protocol 2 (v3.8). As radio model I have set Anan-100D. With the 2.9.0.11 Version I could set 386k sample rate and e...

Many, many thanks, I have been waiting for this for a long time.

Hi Richie,

great solution, this is exactly how I imagined CTUN, thanks. :D
Super fast implementation.
I am already looking forward to the 21L8.

With kind regards

Re: Thetis v2.8.11 - UPDATES and current issues

It is not quite as simple as it seems. If it is only a mouse drag limit than that is ok and can be done easily enough.

Perhaps a switch CTUN Lock could be introduced under Miscellaneous to fix the band limits or not.

Have a nice evening!

Re: Thetis v2.8.11 - UPDATES and current issues

Hi Richie, on the video https://youtu.be/c-7youfWnaA I show the CTUN function turned on and its behavior when you click to position it on the outer set band limits. No matter if you select a frequency at 3,600 Khz or at 3,800 Khz, the display jumps, the set range is not fixed. This behavior is alrea...

Hi Scott,

Of course I can do that, I will forward this post to Alex. Then Alex can also report here how things are going, but of course Alex has to decide that for himself.

Many greetings
