Re: Unable to acess Skin Server
Dear Richie, Without shutting Thetis would not let you try again as the msg on the screen won't go away and restarting the thetis only way to get the skin server retry to fetch the details and I did that several times without luck. Tried flushdns after your suggestion and no luck either. Restarting ...

Dear Richie,
I have added Google Public DNS 8.8.8.8 to my network connection and now the link you provided can be opened without any issue when I click on it.
Thetis is still not fetching the 4 server list.
Any clue now?

Re: FT8 Thetis dont transmit after 15/20 minutes standby
Dear Chris W2PA, Ernst OE3IDE & Hans PA0Q I am back and I have changed power-saving properties and now the FT8 does not stop transmitting. Earlier only PTT used to work and no power after 15/20 minutes of inactivity. I have tested up to 1 hour inactivity and it transmits normally. (Thetis used t...

Dear Chris W2PA & Ernst OE3IDE, Thank you very much for your responses and diagnostics. I am sorry for not responding promptly. I was away. Yes restarting WSJT-X and JTDX corrects the issue. PTT always keeps working but its TX audio that stops. Just tried to play with power saving settings and w...

Hello, I have noticed for a long time that when I am using FT8 using WSJT-X or JTDX and don't transmit for 15/20 minutes or so and then call someone, Thetis goes into transmit mode but no power output and the only solution for me till now was to shut the JTDX or WSJT-X and re-start it to function pr...

Auto band change for a amp with ICOM Voltages
Hello friends, My Mercury IIIS HF amplifier is working just fine and mine was made from bare PCBs. I enjoyed building it despite having no experience handling SMD components and the smallest footprint was 0805. Now I have decided to go ahead and start another project which Kurt Moraw designed and it...

Re: Where to find .pof file for programming with USB Blaster?
More important is to find out if the boatloader code (.pof file ) Location is confusing or not? Otherwise I will cause issues for someone requiring it in the future. If the radio is dead for the moment, you may call it bricked or by any name should not matter till the final obituary is written. In a...

Re: Where to find .pof file for programming with USB Blaster?
So what do you think bricked it? I really don't know. This is the second time during the last couple of years. Bootloader worked properly. It erased the earlier firmware and then programmed the P1 Metis_Orion_MkII_v2.7_K5SO_5-4.rbf after the power cycle and moved the jumper switch to off There was ...

Re: Where to find .pof file for programming with USB Blaster?
It was not a typo. Even I thought thst bootloader was good as heartbeat was normal in bootloader mode. I tried uploading.rbf files P1 & P2 and bootloader program shows that it was progrmmed properly and after power cycle it wouldn't work as there was no heartbeat in normal mode. So I was advised...

Re: Where to find .pof file for programming with USB Blaster?
Dear Scott, My card stopped working after a P1 firmware downgrade as the heartbeat stopped in normal mode and it was working in bootloader mode. So I was advised to upload .pof file and I was looking for it. I got it from Doug after spending a lot of time and the radio is alive again. I am just regi...

Re: Where to find .pof file for programming with USB Blaster?
Finding .pof files for anan8000DLE original version with 200W is a daunting task and I find it very confusing and it may be a readymade recipe for disaster. I was looking for the file as I needed it for my radio and the earlier location where it used to be was recently changed. All the confusion was...

Re: TCI with WSJT JTAlert CW. How to setup?
Absolutely no issue except that if there is a primary way and it's working with other folks, it should work here too.
The main advantage is that you can run 2 instances with predefined RX.
I may be required to add another pair of VAC for RX2
Thanks Scott.
