Waterfall during tx not showing Pure Signal action
I'm not sure which version this is since, but when engaging Pure Signal I used to see the unwanted sideband emission disappear on the waterfall during tx, showing how well it is working.
Now both sidebands look the same. Pure Signal bar is green on tx.
(2.10.3.4)
Thanks
Andy

Change mouse wheel direction?
Sorry if I've missed this, but is it possible to change the mouse wheel direction? i.e. if I scroll down, the freq goes up!
Thanks!

Ah thanks didn’t notice the port.
The screenshots someone posted above say to use Flex…
Also, how can I enable a 2nd radio in N1MM.
Thanks

Thanks - just what I wanted. But I'm unclear on the version of Thetis, my ver is 2.8.11 - are you saying I need an earlier version?
Mine doesn't have the IP settings on the CAT+ tab.

Re: SSB with carrier?
That does it, thanks.
Interestingly, the receive audio quality is better on some SDRs when there's some carrier, around 10dB down.
Which is what I was wondering!

SSB with carrier?
Hi, I'm wondering if its possible with the Anan to tx SSB with carrier - i.e. not completely suppressed, or reinserted...
I'd like too do some experiments with the carrier around 10-15dB down.
Just a thought...

No processing on that, just +10dB. And that's with no audio cable connected to inputs.

Re: Headphone o/p noise on transmit
That is with the audio input to the tx disconnected, audio taken from the headphone output, Apache MOX on.
Mixer is grounded like everything else, all interconnecting cables are balanced, with an isolation transformer on the audio input. But like I say, that's with no mic or audio input connected.

It is also connected to the house ground.
And since I'm in Ireland I'm not bound by US electrical code.
And as I said, I don't believe its RF feedback, as it's irrelevant to the OP power. In the recording above, the Apache is on SSB, there is no audio being fed to it, therefor its not actually ...

Re: Headphone o/p noise on transmit
Each piece of equipment is grounded by a separate cable to a central point, which is then connected to a couple of ground rods.
But this does not sound like a ground loop. It sounds like a digital hash with a slight high frequency hum, not 50Hz (which we use here).
Here's a recording - this has ...

Headphone o/p noise on transmit
This is a strange one, I find with my Anan 7000DLE, on transmit the headphone connection, supposedly muted, outputs some noise.
This is a kind of digital-sounding hiss/hum, which to the uninitiated sounds like a fan running in the background.
Its a problem for me because of the way I route the ...

Thanks for the useful reply Rob. How does one tell the Annan 7000 to listen to the 'bypass' input? Mine has a bnc marked bypass, no loopthrough connector which I think the older boards had.
