Re: Lost VAC2 on SSB
The matter seems to be resolved. I reset the database and then imported a 12/1/23 version, but no joy. I then imported an 11/2/23 database and it seems to be functioning as normal. For what it is worth the RX1 is ADC0 and RX2 is ADC1. I use the RX2 terminal for the 2nd RX. They've been that way all ...

Lost VAC2 on SSB
7000 DLE II - Thetis v2.10.3.5 Pre3 (also v2.10.3.4) Overnight I lost both Lower and Upper SSB Audio via VAC2. Other modes except DRM do pass audio. VAC1 continue to be okay. I'm a bit perplexed.

Unexplained Shutdown of Thetis
I've been experiencing seemingly random shutdowns of Thetis. To the best of my recollection it can happen when I'm in a different desktop than Thetis or in the same desktop (I think...). Windows 11 I7 - 12700 processor, 32 gig RAM I don't recall precisely where in Ritchie's updates this began to hap...

Explains what I have been seeing.

Re: Noise Blanker DSP Values?
Power Line Noise - Virtually all power-line noise, originating from utility company equipment, is caused by a spark or arcing across some power-line related hardware. A breakdown and ionization of air occurs, and current flows between two conductors in a gap. per ARRL https://ncetest.com/buzz-kill-h...

Re: Noise Blanker DSP Values?
For the past couple of months I've had high noise levels. Based on experience I surmise the noise is Line Noise. I seem to be getting a lot of Noise Blanker overload. Is the perceived lack of performance of the noise blankers in the Anan predominantly tied to hardware or software? Kind regards, Dick...

Upon the reading of this topic I watched W1AEX's video on ANAN CFC Audio Tools Setup Guide. Anan never ceases to amaze. Early in the video there was a quick reference to the RX EQ. Re: Different 'RX1 acting up whereas RX2 is not'
I believe the bandpass filters are proper. Previously with an Elecraft K3/LP-Pan and an HPSDR software variant I have had interference I would attribute to AM Broadcast. I don't precisely recall how far that station might be...haven't been out that way in a while. Switching the coaxes between the RX...

Re: Different 'RX1 acting up whereas RX2 is not'
As far as I know overload is during RX. I haven't done any checking on the TX side of the matter.

Different 'RX1 acting up whereas RX2 is not'
I've added an end fed wire antenna to my remote 2 x 6 switch-box. One coax goes to the #1 antenna terminal on my 7000DLE MKII. The other feeds the RX terminal. It is very easy to swap the feeds at the switch-box via software control. RX1 quite often suffers with overload on the 124.5' end fed. RX2 n...

Perhaps my problem belongs most closely to 'Rig Control...Software'
I've changed setups and more recently, my computer. I'm trying to configure RNA Software's "SWR Plotter" to operate with Thetis v2.9.0.8 under Windows 11. Upon executing SWR Plotter it is required to connect to a properly configured COM Port. The computer is a desktop replacement laptop. I...

Re: Install Sequence
Thanks, Scott. I can't tell you just what went wrong as I didn't copy images of the error messages, etc. It may have been that I had moved some files from the backup of the previous installation of 2.9.0.6 into User/Name\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR\Thetis-x64/ Those files had been on a computer of dif...

Install Sequence
I have a new 'desktop replacement' laptop. The old computer died but I have a reasonable recent backup drive that I can selectively copy files from I first attempted to install 2.9.0.6. That dog didn't hunt. After some searching I installed from the project site 2.9.0.3 (or was it .2?). It seems to ...
