UPDATE Kents 7K is a gone pecan

Two personal ham friends have radios for sale and I told them I would put them on our form.
Sammy w5dpp 979-820-4814 has a 7k in the 8k case.
Kent 832-857-7575 has a new 7k
I know both of these guys personal ly, have done a lot of trading with Sammy.

What's the best practices to run my 8k or my new (backup) 7K on Thetis? can I simply change the model in setup when I chose to run one radio at a time? just concerned about the different PA cal settings

Rich, I have been having Seq errors and been loading some different FW, Looks like I have solved the muting rear speaker, I just loaded V2.7 FW and no more muted speaker, FYI being able to mute the rear speaker would be a great feature when running headphones and the monitor

Rich,Thanks for the info on the EQ's.
This rear speaker mute started with RC3, upon startup and pressing the power button the rear speaker is muted but not the front headphones. to unmute you either hit the tune, any band buttons or the mouse wheel to change the freq.

Richie, Could we put some DB reference marks or lines for the EQ and CFC/EQ? It is very difficult to tell where the DB markers are without them.

Yes on the cables < I send the speaker output from 2 radios(TS-890/Anan8K) to channels 5 and 6 on the XAir12 then out on AUX! thru a Jensen audio transformer to my KRK Rocket speaker. So I just mute either of the channel to kill the speaker. I notice that the MOX ot Tune button will unmute the ...
