Scott, the only appreciablee thing I changed was to turn both the VAC's off. I've got yet to test fldigi for operation with that change as I believe we set the VAC's up to handle that mode.However, I lost the speaker outputs in doing this, but I hae the Anan's headphones for now. Scott, Ok, as per the setup given on your last message the mic works fine. So basically this is what I expected: The problem is probably in the VAC 1 & 2 SETUP and yes, I believed (and had set to & formerly was working when) the mic selection was/is on "tip". i'm Roger (KB7JD)and I am looking for a solution to my 7000dle low output power I suspect is tied up with the mic settings/signal input because a "tune" signal drives the xmtr to the same level as the power out slider is set to, but in ssb voice mode it is about only 1/3 of that setting ...
