Re: Automatic ID feature built into Thetis
I think that on the "General" form, Option 2, you can define the way Automatic ID works. I would imagine that the source file of audio can be voice and/or CW for instance.

Chris,
What RF Delay (mine is set at 100) are you using? I see my PTT Delay is 0!

Not sure why this other Thetis fellow is having those issues. Perhaps he didn't set the timing parameters....

Old CW keying topic revisited
Getting ready to operate in a big CW contest in May and exploring my options as far as keying the radio on CW is concerned. I would like additional feedback from die-hard CW operators, especially those who are heavy into contesting! Note that I am using a Solid State amplifier and will not want to s...

Re: "Conflict" between TCI and TCP?
Got it to work except that for some reason I only got flagged 1 MULT once on 15 meter band although just about all of the stations are still MULTS, being that the CQWPX contest just started. Perhaps I try another cluster.....

INDEED!
How about settings under Thetis "User Interface" where it also shows N1MM Port and Focus Master. Is there a minimum speed in baud that I must use?

As far as choosing ports, can I choose them at will?
Well......at least some things I did were "good."

Re: "Conflict" between TCI and TCP?
My screen-capture SW failed so I am inserting images using capture feature of Windows which explains partial redundancy. I believe that the IP addresses on the N1MM "Broadcasting" aren't correct at all which is caused by my lack of understanding of IP/Ports. :( The error message clearly sa...

"Conflict" between TCI and TCP?
I did have my N1MM+ logging work pretty well about a year ago. Will retrace the steps I took to see what the mistake is that I will have committed. From memory, I think that I operated my SS amp using either RF sensing or CAT control, NOT TCI, which may explain why I got it all to work. The amp, The...

I have never even thought about this previously and fell to thinking only after a buddy of mine saw the GUI when I TX as it appears quite different. Also, I have not thought of making any changes to the appearance as the radio has been working great. I have provided 2 images of GUI durint TX below. ...

Re: Payment Fraud Alert
I see many threads on scams related to payments and servers at Apache-Labs that have been hacked making for a very uneasy feeling if one were to purchase any products. As far as I am concerned, I purchased my ANAN from a fellow here in the U.S. so I never had to place an order via the Apache-Lab web...

Re: Programming XIT
Hi Richie! OK on the granularity. So, I guess I will just need to, either not use the DJController and tweak the off-set using the mouse or use VFOB instead (could use the controller in that case). I was hoping that the controller would give me a much faster way to change the off-set in the XIT when...

Re: Current consumption not showing
JJ, My meter does show 7.6 amps during TX (at 42 watts output), but shows 0.0 during RX -- I've always just assumed that the current draw during RX was something less than 0.1 amp so the meter just registers 0.0 (but I could be wrong, as you well know!). Mark Mark, Good to hear from you. I may may ...

Re: Current consumption not showing
Thanks all for feedback.
I was talking about current consumption during TX (CW/SSB). It shows 0A on both RX and TX, with the Thetis version I am using. With previous versions I did see amperage when in TX mode (I forget now if I paid much attention to that figure while in RX mode).

Just noticed that the GUI does indicate voltage but not current. Any thoughts on ways to remedy that?

Programming XIT
I realize that I could always use VFOB on split rather than XIT, but if the off-set is just a few kHz I prefer using XIT. Now, I programmed both a cross-fader on my Hercules Compact DJController Starlight and one of the Volume pots for a look-see to see which one works better, but I only get an off-...

Hi Ernst, Do the wheels work when you place your finger on the "bezel" ? Talking about the Numark DJ2Go2 Touch Midi Controller that you have working with "some oddities." I assume that when you do the programming you can rotate the wheels by placing your finger on the bezel. I pr...

Re: What are the midi controllers that work.
Hi Richie! Yes, I know, this should be a piece of cake. I will double check in regards to "external software." The only one that I can think of is N1MM+ and my RF2K-S amplifier that communicates with the ANAN using TCI (I don't like RF sensing) , but a buddy of mine also uses TCI and has r...

Scott, Not sure if what I have been doing is wrong, but I have copied the OpenHPSDR folders in their entirety rather than only the Thetis subfolders next level down from OpenHPSDR folders as shown below. Could this way of backing things up end up causing issues that normally don't show up? C:\Progra...

Re: What are the midi controllers that work.
The list will be vastly increased as I have just fixed an issue where more modern controllers give additional 14bit midi messages for sliders/controllers. The messages for those knobs/sliders arrive in pairs and the midi config was getting confused. As a quick fix we are now ignoring the 14bit mess...

Heavens....you are still up :o ! I actually had to go down in text size (at 100% things are a little to tiny though) so I will play with text size a bit more. The thing is that now ALL text whatever the App is got smaller, BUT, the main thing is that VFOA and VFOB now display as they should :D ! Sor...
