Re: Thetis DRIVE CONTROL IN TRANSVERTER MODE
I know this is an old post, but wondered if a solution had been found? I have just updated from a 100D to a 7000DLE Mk2, both using the latest protocol versions available. Using either a Pihpsdr controller or a pc running the latest Thetis the 100D has a smooth PA setting control over the transverte...

Thetis and Transverters
Not sure this the correct place, so please move if needed. I thought I would try Thetis(v2.9.0) with my 100D (Protocol1) instead of my usual PiHPSDR and mk2 controller. I mainly use the Anan as a transverter driver for VHF and up and but also have a 40/80m dipole connected to ANT1 and a RX antenna o...

In affective NR when using transverters?
I have a 100D and find the NR to work well when on HF bands using ANT1 but when I use the XVTR ports to connect to VHF/UHF transverters the NR just distorts the audio and makes it sound garbled and un readable? Any one have any idea why it would do this and a possible solution? I tried the various o...

Andromeda Versions?
Sorry not sure where is best to post this, so please move if needed. Can anyone confirm if there have been 2 front panels designs for the andromeda? I have found one for sale, but it seems to have differences to the one shown for ordering from Apache direct? The mike is a 3.5 connector not the RJ45 ...

Re: Echo on audio when using "Radio Mic Boost"
5 months later is very busy, ha ha :D Quicker reply this time :) With the mic bias properly applied to the electret microphone of the SB45 the mic boost option should not be required. Are you no longer using mic boost? I am still using the mic boost, without this I have to increase the mic gain fro...

Re: Echo on audio when using "Radio Mic Boost"
Sorry for the delay in replying, been busy. So maybe my comment about being RF was incorrect. So how do I stop it, I can reduce the output power to less than a watt and the problem is the same, into either a dummy load or antenna. I have an adapter box that the SB45 plugs into and is combined with a...

Echo on audio when using "Radio Mic Boost"
I have Anan 100D running protocol 1 V6.0 and PiHPSDR V2 controller. Recently been getting comments that my TX audio is poor and has a echo making it un readable. I haven't changed anything and have been using a KOSS SB45 headset with the setup for months. I initially thought is was RF getting into t...

Re: Changing Encoder directions?
I have managed to change the encoder direction, but I had to manually edit the GPio.props file, it doesn't seem to save/use the settings if it changed using the profile on the initialisation screen.

Re: Changing Encoder directions?
Erik Thanks for replying.
I did try changing the settings in that part but that part seems to have all changed from the previous documented version.
The Install/update instruction are here https://github.com/g0orx/pihpsdr/blob/m ... nstall.pdf

Changing Encoder directions?
I have a PiHPSDR controlling my Anan 100D, I have just installed the latest version 2.0.8 rc1 and it has solved the issues when using Transverter. But my VFO know tunes the opposite way to what it did before, I remember I changed this with the previous version by changing the GPIO allocations, but t...

Re: ANAN 100d line level audio?
Many thanks for the detailed explanations, I am slowly understanding the Anan more and more. Unless I am reading the manual wrong Pin 22 is an output the same as 10, The only pin that seems to indicate its a Input is 12 " Left Channel Line-Level Audio Input*" , but I tried that and had no ...

ANAN 100d line level audio?
I have a Anan100d with the angelia board, and PiHPSDR V2 controller. I have the Controller connected to a PC using serial and that does the radio control for contesting. etc, I am now trying to connect the audio from the Anan to my PC so I can operate on MGM etc. I looked at the 25 way connector inf...

Re: PiHPSDR and N1MM
Erik Thanks for the pointer I have now managed to get N1MM talking to the PiHPSDR using a serial connection. Only issue is PiHPSDR doesn't remember the serial settings and I have to change them every time I start the software. :( I have looked in the .props file and cant even find any reference to t...

PiHPSDR and N1MM
I have PiHPSDR V2 connected to a Anan100D (Angelia) and it almost works perfect( slight issue with the PA not turning off when using XVTR'ers, waiting for software update.) I am a keen VHF contester, but recently started to contest on HF. and need to be able to interface the N1MM software with the P...

Audio connection with 100d and PiHPSDR?
I have a 100d (Angelia board) and controlling with a PiHPSDR V2 Controller. I have plugged in a Koss SB45 headset into the front MIc/Headphone socket and using a keyboard connected (not ideal) to the controller I can press the space bar for TX. I want to use a footswitch so, using the same headset a...

PiHPSDR controller V2 - Dual Encoder knobs and case?
I have built and have working the PiHPSDR controller V2, but I am struggling to find compatible knobs for the Dual Encoder EC11EBB24C03. I also can only find a knob at 30mm diameter for the VFO, I like something a little larger and finally what have other used for the case that doesn't need me to re...
