Re: G2 with face now using Thetis.

Joe, The Noise Reduction in PiHPSDR, ( the G2 front panel software) uses the same DSP code as Thetis. So, it will work the same. The only time you will have to have internet access will be when you need to update the radio's firmware and software. The basic features in PiHPSDR are almost the same as...

It's still there. Look in the comments section of their latest post. I have looked through several of the posts on their Facebook page. Some of them show several comments. But, when you look at the comments, nothing is showing. I make sure to select Show all comments. And still the same results. It...

Re: Microphone/ Audio Interface Options

I just threw out my M-audio AIR box. It was suffering MAJOR USB data jitter, and replaced it with a UA Volt #1. Best DAC I have ever tried with ridiculously low latency. The Volt 1 is what I have been using. It has proven to be very well behaved. Best upgrade I have added to my setup after my Tanno...

Go to this link: https://www.ol-power.com/sdr-en.html Scroll down to the tabbed selections and select Specifications. Then look at the application screenshots. The settings pages are identical to those in Thetis with very little differences. Also, there is a page for pricing and availability. No pri...

Re: Implementation of Pure Signal by Dr. Pratt in other radio

It will certainly be interesting to see where they go with this. I have bookmarked their website to try to keep up with development of their new SDR. James WD5GWY I realize that the hardware is only a portion of the "radio " in an SDR radio system. I guess the G2 Saturn is a radio as every...

Re: Implementation of Pure Signal by Dr. Pratt in other radio

Doctor Pratt's WDSP library ( including Pure Signal) is available in several open source applications. Do a Google search on Github and you will see several projects that have used it or tried to. This particular SDR sounds like the 7000DLE MKII architecture. The bandwidth per receiver to be display...

Re: Payment Fraud Alert

Apache labs has stated on their order page to not use bank/wire transfers for payment. Credit cards and PayPal are much safer and offer better buyer protection. This was posted after the incident in the post above yours. It didn't help that person in this particular instance. As it wasn't an issue a...

Re: Major new version of Voicemeeter now in pre-release

Thanks guys for the detailed information. So far I haven't really got into digital modes. I tried FT8 and other than the ease of making contacts, I didn't really find it interesting enough to continue to use. The computer I use with my 8000DLE also is used with two other SDR radios. A Flex 5000A and...

Right Click on the Task Bar ( Windows) and select Taskbar settings. Under actions, select "Auto Hide Taskbar ". Exit out of the settings and when you run Thetis the Taskbar should disappear until you put your cursor on the bottom of the screen. Then it will pop-up if needed.

Re: Will WIFI Cause Problems

If there is nothing connected to the network connection on your computer's motherboard you can connect directly to it with your 7000DLE MKII. The only time you would need to add a network card is if the current network connection is in use. Wifi connection between the router and the wired connection...

Click tune not working correctly

Until today, I could click ( left click) on a frequency in the spectrum display and the vfo indicator would move to ( or very close to) the signal I was interested in.
