I have a Anan A-10E and 200D, as well as a Yaesu FT-818. If I can get a good amount of out of band rejection over their stock specs, I'd sure like that. There is probably a point of diminishing returns, and I am not sure where that is.
I'm interested in setting up an external bandpass filter bank ...

Re: Usefulness of A-10 TAPR upgrade/accessories?
Wow, I'm surprised these can still be purchased!
I don't have an ANAN-10, but I do have a 100D and it also required a similar modification for good PureSignal performance. I built my own version.
IMHO the TR-Plus is a worthy accessory. It's definitely necessary for PureSignal because the older ...

Usefulness of A-10 TAPR upgrade/accessories?
I am researching a couple of A-10 Hermes upgrades (I have a A-10E), and came across two from TAPR. One is the Pure Signal T/R switch for Pure Signal, and the other is a breakout board for the ribbon connector. TAPR calls this the Hermes J16 breakout board.

How to ground Anan A-10E?
I have a 200D and see a ground lug on it. But I don't see one on my A-10E. Do I ground it from a screw on the case? From the ribbon connector? Don't ground it?

Re: I need a replacement power cable for A-10E
Thanks--I did email him and he told me (to my total surprise) 'it was not economical for him to make a cable I could easily make myself'. Economical is the word he used. I was directed to just build-my-own, which I would do, if I knew the specs of that rear connector. It seems a bit larger in the ...

I need a replacement power cable for A-10E
Somehow I misplaced the power cable for my A-10E, and none of my power cables seem to fit that middle pin.
I emailed support as well, but how can I order a replacement power cable?
Thanks,
Greg, K3RW

Re: Pre-Sales Questions
What happened to the Anan 6000 series, the 30w rig?
It was on here late last year and I was considering getting it once I got moved in here. I don't see it anymore, so I am guessing there was a lack of interest, or they did a single run production and I missed it.

Re: Frequency Calibration
I did some digging and the jumpers were listed in the Hermes board manual , not the Anan User Manual. Looks like in the 10E it needs the jumper changed at J20... quoting from the board manual:
J20: When a jumper is inserted between pins 1 and 3 (the default setting) the internal

Re: Frequency Calibration
I realize this may not be the answer you want, but you might also consider buying a GPS disciplined 10MHz reference oscillator. Leo Bodnar makes a reasonably priced one. The 7000 will automatically use the signal. The 10E's will have to have their internal jumpers configured to use it.

Happy to report success using that Ethernet USB adapter. Not an ideal solution but it works, especially once the Interface Metric was changed to a value of 1.

USB to Ethernet adapter
Just got my 200D and spent a frustrating weekend trying to connect to it. Mainly I was not familiar with setting up even the most basic networking settings, but also 1) not a single computer in my house has a native ethernet port (really?), 2) the lengthy writeups I saw on connecting seemed to be ...
