Just an update on what the problem was and how it was corrected.

It was an RFI problem, 10 meters was coming back into the shack via the 600 ohm ladder line from the 160 meter doublet.

It now looks like it may be an RFI issue with the ANAN. I had a bunch of chokes on the antenna coax coming into the shack.

I took them off and put them on the coax on the radio and the issue appears to be gone.

It was worse on the low part of 10 meters intermittent on the mid section of 10 meters ...

I also had problems measuring SWR and reflected power.
Even when setting the minimum output power, it showed 0.3W reflected. And did not change the value when the output increased.
The converter ADC78H90CIMT (U17) did not work properly.
Chip heating 92°C(197.6°F).
Although FWD displayed correctly ...

I think I had the same thing.

I had to change the filter size RX and TX on SSB/AM at DSP.Options to 4096 to get rid of that out of pass band spikes. I had 2 spikes above and below the band pass, Setting 100 hz as the bottom got rid of both. But to have a 50 hz bottom, I had to change the filter ...

I was able to stop this problem by changing the LPF filter for 10m to the bottom of the 10m band at 28.000 instead of the default of 24.000. I guess that filters out the 11 meter signal that for some reason the radio is producing when in 10 meters.
The settings in BPF1/LPF (and BPF2) do not change ...

I don't know if there is a hardware issue with my radio or if it is a particular issue with the ALS-1306 but just letting everyone know how I either fixed or compensated for a 10 meter transmit issue with the 700DLE MKII and the ALS-1306

Looking at the schematic, the radio employs a directional bridge to isolate Forward power voltage and Reverse power voltage using 2 op amps on the same LMR348 chip and then that voltage travels by cable to the processor.

So it could be anything from a poorly seated cable to a diode, to a cap, or ...

Here are the numbers

All power was set on the dummy load to 10 watts via the MFJ-891 Meter.
The antenna is a fan dipole with wires for 80/40/20/10 meters. I also tune it to all bands 80-10 using the MFJ -998 Autotuner

I first checked the antenna at the freqs with theMFJ-259C Analyzer to check SWR ...

forward power corresponds to forward power on the MFJ meter

reflected power is very low compared to the MFJ meter

I think the problem is the radio is not measuring reflected power properly or the phase ...

Let me ask your setup.
Are you using an SWR/power meter between the tuner & antenna? If so, that is the wrong place to read SWR.
Try each band directly to the dummy load & see what the radio reads on all bands.

The likely problem is an the opamp or something else inline with the opamp that brings the signal to the input or biases the opamp.

I have a thread in the Thetis subforum but now believe I have a hardware issue.

The Reverse power measuring is unrealistically low producing an SWR that is much lower than the actual SWR.

The circuit diagram shows the Reverse Power goes through an opamp, so this is very likely a hardware issue ...

Please excuse my ignorance. How might a dummy load help him isolate the difference between three SWR readings, where one is presumed erroneously low?

on noise level and on a received signal the difference between the 6m RX LNA on and off is 6 db.

Does that sound about right or is there maybe a problem with the 6m LNA?

I am getting a 1.3 SWR on 6 meters when the antenna shows 2.4 SWR. All the other bands work well.

But on 6 meters, I get no more than 1.3 SWR when it is confirmed by another radio and an antenna analyzer to be 2.4 and actually higher at higher power setting using another radio.

That did it Mark. That made a big difference. It is the SSB Filter size. Mine was 1024. I made it 4096 and it looks much better with a steep rolloff below the low transmit filter hertz
