I think this is a step that marks a new generation of technology in the ham world, leaving light years behind everything that until yesterday could have come close to thetis. I am truly honored to have been able to witness the birth of this technology!

New DNR eally very interesting, a new unique and innovative step in the typologies of DNR!!
It is very comfortable, but unfortunately the low signals are covered, even with a threshold of -5. I hope that can increase its sensitivity. Really congratulations!!

Re: Thetis > SDC using VAC - Ghost Signals
A strange thing happens to me with SDC, when I transmit I see my transmission appear on multiple frequencies. I tried excluding the dup, the ps, lowering the power to 1w (if I transmit at 0w it doesn't happen). What could it depend on?

Re: Firmware fix for RF appearing on RX only ports
Finally the new firmware works without SEQ Errors on my MK3 too! I would very much like to know what it could depend on, given that various theories and possibilities have been floated (closures, temperature, network card compatibility, etc.) and to understand, explained in simple words, what ...

Hi Vin,

I've noticed a frequency offset when using protocol 2 with a 7000DLE MK3. It is around -160Hz. When using protocol 1, the frequency is correct (within several Hz). I asume that with only changing between protocol 1 and 2 firmware, the frequency should be identical.

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis
Could it be that the cmASIO functionality only works with protocol2?
Hi OM,
Yes, that is correct, cmASIO is not supported by protocol_1.
I'll have to check why the icon is still green using protocol 1 (I thought we tested that).

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis
I purchased a MOTU M2 card to test the cmASIO functionality, I created the text in regedit and everything worked fine straight away. Unfortunately I had to go back to the protocol1 firmware (I have a 7000 mk3 and the prot2 doesn't work well), the cm icon remains green but I can't hear anything ...

It might be time to try a different Ethernet card. They are cheap enough.
I had a NIC with a Qualcomm chipset that wouldn't work at all with our radios. I had another with an Intel chipset that might have been a counterfeit device, it worked but poorly.

I changed the speed of the ANAN dedicated ethernet card from “auto negotiation” to 100mbps.
With the original P2 fw it doesn't work as I imagined (mine is 2.1.12 a) but thanks to this I discovered something interesting.

Re: So Disappointed But I Rolled it Back. 7000 MK III To Protocol 1
When I was having a issue with my 7000dle mkIII and protocol II I went into the network card setting and reduced it down to 100mbps with a bandwidth of 768000. And I still run 768000 just to keep it tamed. I no longer have to run the nic card at limited 100mbps after the latest firmware. I hope ...

I hope this is not the case, not even the worst Chinese manufacture would have certain defects. However, I would feel like excluding it, since I made the long transmission times at very low powers (not even 1w) and with the P1 the problem does not arise

The situation worsens heavily. As soon as it is turned on, Error 8 constantly appears in RX.
As soon as I send, many other errors appear right from the start.

Jay--AFAIK, you are the only person with the most recent FPGA that has reported an intractable problem with a GigE connection.

A strange thing happened to me. After about an hour of activity (a lot of time in transmission) I noticed the noisefloor go up and stay 7-10dB higher than usual. I thought it was caused by some electrical devil, but even by detaching the antenna the noise remained and gradually decreased after a few ...

Thanks for the reply.
I have no idea what “timing closure” means, but I trust what you say, since now with the P1 everything works (or at least seems) correctly.
I don't intend to make any hardware changes, I don't have the presumption to improve what the design engineers have come up with, that's ...
