You’re probably correct Scott. My thinking was that it would most likely be female XLR mini. I say that because most if not all audio interfaces use a female type connector whether it’s a XLR, 1/4” inch TPS or 1/8 inch TPS. I was just trying to look ahead to have everything I need here in the shack ...

I cannot clearly see from the Anan G2 photo of the rear panel if the XLR mini port is a male or female. I would think it would be a female but sort if looks like a male XLR mini port. Maybe someone can see it more clearly than myself.

Thank you very much. That corrected the problem.
You are correct that I can't do much without the hardware, but at least it gives me an opportunity to get a little familiar with the various settings in the menus as well as the console itself.
