Re: Behringer CMD Studio2A for VFO A or B freq control

I have the exact same problem with the wheels. I loaded the driver as you suggested. The wheel works better now, but if I turn the wheel the frequency just jumps in the step tune frequency I have set. If I swing the wheel, it just keeps stepping slowly until the frequency change finally catches up w...

Re: MIDI Studio 2a

I had the windows driver installed first and it worked except for the wheels. I just installed the Berenger driver 1.7.0 there last one, they are not supporting the 2a anymore. the 1.7.0 worked the same as the windows driver, wheels don't work.

Re: MIDI Studio 2a

My problem is a little different. I can map all the sliders and buttons, and knobs, and they work fine. The big wheels are the only thing that doesn't work correctly. As a side note, I originally had a Ryzen based computer, with that one the studio 2 would not work at all. Was reading on the web tha...

MIDI Studio 2a

Using a Behringer CMD Studio 2a, and Thetis, on a 7000DLE MKIII. Most of the functions can be mapped, but when I try to map any of the large wheels for VFO-A, The Max Value is 127, and the Min Value is 0, but the Value only shows 63 to 65 as I rotate the wheel, and after saving, the frequency only c...

I have the Clean RF.com sampler, but I have heard that one is not recommended. Do you have a recommendation on a coupler? I have heard that the correct amount of feedback is required.

Re: Anan 7000 and mercury hookup

Yes! This is my first amp, coming soon. I already have the Mercury tuner. I thought I could key the tuner with an OC pin to ground, to put the tuner into tune mode from the TUN button on the 7000, but maybe not.

Anan 7000 and mercury hookup

Does anyone know the electrical hookup, and Thetis settings for automatic control of a Mercury IIIs amp and Mercury antenna tuner, to an Anan 7000DLE Mk III?

Re: OC setup for Tune

OC pinout.pdf I changed my attachment a little, it may be easier to understand. Pin 1 does go to ground. I don't know if pin 2 is OCRef, in my schematic it goes to the output of a Darlington circuit, so it may be. Does anyone else notice a discrepancy in the Thetis OC callout in relationship to the...

Re: OC setup for Tune

OK, I've checked the wiring, and it is all OK. But on further experimenting I found that when I change OC transmit pins to 4 then pin 6 goes to ground when I tick TUN. I also found out that while I have Transmit pin action pin 6 set to only TUN, if I tick MON or 2TON they also cause pin 6 to go to G...

Wow, there are so many things you might be doing wrong, it's hard to tell where you are at. First off, the tune slider should show up if you've gone to Setup > Transmit and in the Tune section selected "Use Tune Slider". If it does not then I can only guess you have somehow corrupted the ...

Re: TX power some bands

I've redone the Tx calibration. 17m is OK now. 6 and 10m when I raise the drive over 10W I get error message "ADC1 OVERLOAD, when I use tune or voice. with 10m I get the overload at any power level. 6m I get the overload at above 10w and as I go higher another relay clicks and power goes to zero.

Re: TX power some bands

I've tried something else. I ran Tx power calibration from the Thetis manual, it has me use the drive power slider set to 10% and the tune button to transmit. I went through the calibration procedure with no problem. All bands calibrated for 10w out using the tune button. So, then I went back and us...

Why when I key the Tx into dummy load, using an external power meter I get no power out on 6,10,12,17 meter bands. I hear a transmit relay click and then right away I hear either another relay click, or the transmit relay drop out. The setup-PA settings are all default. 7000DLE MKII Thetis 2.9.0.6 x...

Re: Thetis GUI off screen

Well thanks to all you guys help, I have put your comments together and got the GUI working correctly. Even the resolution button works now...

You need to change the scaling in Windows under the display settings depending on which version of Windows you are using. Scaling effects the size of text and in some applications, placement of various controls. Especially, if the application doesn't automatically adjust itself based on current scr...

It is a 4K monitor, Rez. Is 3840 x 2160. Just a little clarification, the GUI is not off the bottom of my screen, the the bottom of the GUI is covering the sliders on the bottom of the GUI.

Re: Thetis GUI off screen

Minimum vertical resolution for regular expanded view with two receivers is 753 pixels or there abouts. If you run 200% scaling, or an extremely low res screen not sure how it would always be off the bottom. I m not sure what you mean by "200% scaling" but I have tried all the screen reso...

Thetis GUI off screen

My Thetis GUI is off the screen at the bottom. A few sliders at the bottom can't be seen. Re: Thetis, protocol 2

No, not at all. Thetis now works fine with both P1 and P2 firmware. Many versions ago this wasn't true, but now it's not a problem. There is one important limitation of Thetis with P1 firmware. Thetis only supports 192KHz sample rates with P1. So make sure in Thetis > Setup > General > F/W Set you ...

Thetis, protocol 2

In the Thetis manual page 17, 3.1 it says "The radio will need protocol 2 firmware installed and working" does that mean I cannot install Thetis with protocol 1 firmware already installed from Apache Labs. I should be getting my new 7000DLE MKII today.
