I had the windows driver installed first and it worked except for the wheels. I just installed the Berenger driver 1.7.0 there last one, they are not supporting the 2a anymore. the 1.7.0 worked the same as the windows driver, wheels don't work.

No, not at all. Thetis now works fine with both P1 and P2 firmware. Many versions ago this wasn't true, but now it's not a problem. There is one important limitation of Thetis with P1 firmware.
