I already have a 50 ohm SMA termination on the 10Mhz input.

One end of the 10 wire ribbon cable I removed attaches to the PA board, the other to the small board on the rear of the G2. I believe the larger ribbon cable on the small rear board attaches to the Saturn board.

I also notice that in Thetis, it is the same volume regardless of whether PS is enabled or not. In pihpsdr, turning PS on greatly reduces it, where it may no longer be an issue. Interesting? BTW, I am using a G2 with 7 inch display, and also a hand Mic connected to front panel.

I can confirm that pihpsdr and Thetis now works with the V18 firmware, Christoph corrected the issue with pihpsdr. Wide Band is only available on Thetis so far, but at least one can run either pihpsdr or Thetis on the V18 firmware.

I have in the past been using AUTO AGC. With this version (and no RF input), it displays 77 for the AUTO AGC value. Much lower than when using a previous version. With the previous version (2.10.3.5-u2), with AUTO AGC selected, it displayed 101. Nobody has mentioned this yet, is everyone using ...

Why does the waterfall looks so much better when using pihpsdr, (it is much more colorful)? I would think that one would be able to have the same beautiful colors as in pihpsdr, when using Thetis. Currently have selected 'Enchanced' for Palette.

Yes, I did power the G2 off after upgrading. then powered it back on. The current increases, depending on the power put level that is set, but no power at the antenna port. Of course I am keeping the power output low, so that no damage is done.

No FPGA change needed. Just have 2 selections in Thetis and pihpsdr:

Mic on Tip, PTT on Ring

pihpsdr Mic on Tip, PTT on Ring (where it actually selects the opposite from what Thetis uses)

When using the front panel Mic Jack, even though your Mic is on TIP, and PTT pn Ring, you have to select the opposite in the "Radio" menu. Don't know why this can't be corrected in pihpsdr code!
