Selling my Anan-G2 with 7-inch display and Radxa CPU upgrade. Much faster than the Raspberry Pi CM4 and the Current Raspberry Pi CM5. It has 8 CPU cores with each having it's own FPU (the RP CM4 and CM5 only have 4 cores and 1 CPU). Installed a RP PIZero-2040 board to handle the communication ...

I already have a 50 ohm SMA termination on the 10Mhz input.
One end of the 10 wire ribbon cable I removed attaches to the PA board, the other to the small board on the rear of the G2. I believe the larger ribbon cable on the small rear board attaches to the Saturn board.

I also notice that in Thetis, it is the same volume regardless of whether PS is enabled or not. In pihpsdr, turning PS on greatly reduces it, where it may no longer be an issue. Interesting? BTW, I am using a G2 with 7 inch display, and also a hand Mic connected to front panel.

Mic and 2-Tone heard thru speaker on 6M
When on 6M, the distorted Mic audio comes through the passive speaker. It also happens when doing the 2-Tone test, and I have a dummy load on antenna output and using power as low as 20W. So it appears something is getting to somewhere it shouldn't be getting to within the G2. I also notice that ...

Which G2 are you using, and are you using Thetis? If you use Thetis most of the time (which I believe you do), it isn't much of a benefit to upgrade to the Radxa CM5 module. The current RP Cm4 can easily handle the transmissions of packets between the G2 and external PC. In the future, AL ...

Installed the Radxa CM5 into my G2 with the original display, with lots of help from CT1IQI. Also, we received help from Laurence and possibly others. A little more involved with the original display, but it works, and the software just needs fine tuning. Martin (CT1IQI) supplied the image file for ...

I see a Raspberry Pi 5 CM has been manufactured. It is available at:https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/compute-module-5/?variant=cm5-104032
They seem to be out of stock now. I wonder if they would work in G2? Even has WiFi!

I can confirm that pihpsdr and Thetis now works with the V18 firmware, Christoph corrected the issue with pihpsdr. Wide Band is only available on Thetis so far, but at least one can run either pihpsdr or Thetis on the V18 firmware.

Why does the waterfall looks so much better when using pihpsdr, (it is much more colorful)? I would think that one would be able to have the same beautiful colors as in pihpsdr, when using Thetis. Currently have selected 'Enchanced' for Palette.

pihpsdr Mic on Tip, PTT on Ring (where it actually selects the opposite from what Thetis uses)

When using the front panel Mic Jack, even though your Mic is on TIP, and PTT pn Ring, you have to select the opposite in the "Radio" menu. Don't know why this can't be corrected in pihpsdr code!
