I ha(ve)d the same issue. I found turning of the 20 db mic pre-amp solved the issue 90% of the time.

Attempting to change to the root directory as a YouTube video suggests, cd ~ prior to the github update script does not work.

Thank you. To make matters worse, my Thetis signal path failed this afternoon, meaning, the radio is connected but no signals heard. Signals OK as a stand alone radio with display except for the aforementioned audio issues.

I'm really trying to get my Anan to work.

I now have my replacement G2 Ultra...does anyone know the correct way to interface with my SPE 1.3FA amp? I have the factory cable and have tried every combination of CAT connections. Is there anything in Thetis I need to check?

I received my G2 Ultra w/8 inch display a week ago. I struggled with set-up as I did not learn of the inoperable XLR connector until yesterday. What company would let this issue go for over a year??? I am trying to send the radio back for a refund but Apache Labs stopped answering my emails.

I'm getting poor audio with a USB Headset input to Thetis as well as from the G2 XLR jack. Deleted and reloaded Thetis, erased app file, no luck. Mic and ALC levels good. Rough and scratchy.

Frustrated as this is a new radio for me, The USB headset worked fine with my HL2.

I think I found the answer to my own question. There is a file on the Linux Home page of the G2 that has the p2_app file. Opening the file, I need to find out what it takes to open it
