Rather than placing the jumpers as described, I wonder if it would be enough to place a 50 Ohm terminator on the 10 MHz external input connector?

Someone on facebook claimed, that 17m is distorted after this fix. I verified that, and confirm the problem, if using more than 20-25W.

Issue was fixed on 15m with ferrites, but now 17m is distorted. Any ideas?

@n6mud many thanks! Adding the ferrites fixed the audio issue for me. I can now run 100% drive on 15m without audio distortion

I can confirm the same issue on my G2 black face (04/2024). More than 25W output on 15m = audio is badly distorted. It happens if operating standalone with pihpsdr, too. No difference with antenna or dummy load, directly connected to ANT1.
