There is no XLR on the back, it's mis labeled. The XLR is on the mic, The radio has the TRS. I am using the TRS, so the balanced mic input. I actually tried another mic I have that uses the front mic jack, same issue.
The mic goes straight to the TRS on the back, the base goes to the PTT in on the ...

Re: Slow to unkey
Squelch is off. I did play with different AGC speeds, no change
Any chance of:
1 Squelch is on. Turn it off if so.
2 Receive AGC not on fast enough setting to recover quickly on ptt release ? Both AGC type Fast, slow, normal and agc level set by slider and shown as a horizontal line on the ...

Y, TRS.
Tip is mic plus, ring is mic -, barrel is gnd. XLR pin one in gnd, pin 2 is mic+, pin 3 is mic-.
Again, this all works fine with Thetis.

Re: Slow to unkey
We can reduce it to the lowest common denominator, No PTT wire attached, XLR plugged into mic, TLR plugged in G2, MOX button to key, does not matter if it is the hardware MOX on the panel or the software MOX on piHPSDR. TLR tip, ring, and barrel wired per the manual.

Saying RCA in isn't quite complete, I also have a pigtail that takes the 1/8 jack and splits it to two RCA, PTT out I have been using with my amp. I tried the other for PTT in, same issue.

Re: Slow to unkey
I tried the 1/8 mic jack and now also the RCA PTT in, and MOX switch, all behave the same. Listening more closely, it does un-key fast enough, what I'm getting is what sounds like a static crash each time I release the PTT. Its long enough that I miss the beginning of someone talking.

Re: Slow to unkey
Interesting, I'm using an Inrad M629 mic on their stand connected to the rear TLR and the PTT to the rear mic jack. It's the same mic whether I using piHPSDR or Thetis.

Hi,
When using piHPSDR on my Anan G2 ultra doing SSB, I notice that releasing the PTT is slow. What I mean by this is I'm having a conversation with someone, I key down and say what I'm going to say, then release the mic key. It takes much too long for the radio to switch back to RX. I actually ...

Anan G2 Ultra RX
Hi,
I recently received my Anan G2 Ultra. What I am finding is I need to leave the attenuator on -30db or else I get constant ADC overloads. When I do this, all the weak signals disappear. I do a side by side with my FTDX-5000 ( same antenna with a switch going between the two radios ). The 5K ...

Off topic, I did get it working on Thetis, was pretty simple just using VB-Audios basic virtual audio cable.

It also looks like running pulseaudio on both machines might work. Jack also looks like a possibility, or a combination of both. So far what I have been reading is in the context of only going in one direction. Still trying to find the right bi-directional answer.

Re: wsjt remote audio
Thats what I have been looking into and trying. I have a null-sink setup on the CM5 and I have tried just virtual audio cable and voice meeter banana. still no luck. I think Thetis has a more explicit setup for a virtual audio channel. Once I exhaust trying with piHPSDR, I might try Thetis.
Thanks

Re: wsjt remote audio
For me, I have been using my PC to run wsjt-x or jtdx for many years, connections are there, logbook is there, prefer to keep it there.
Still would like to know if there's a way to do audio over the LAN.

Hi,
Is it possible to run piHPSDR on my ANAN G2 Ultra with panel and WSJT on my PC ( Windows ) and get the audio back and forth over LAN?

Re: Power calibration
I ended up configuring each band to use my amp, So I set each band up to give 500W out on my amp when drive is set to 100%. this seems to work OK. The Anan output at max power is around 25W. This seems to mash the band to band power issues I was seeing.

Day 2, some oddities.
I'm day 2 into my Anan G2 ultra and using Thetis,
So far I have the power calibrated fairly well, the only issue are, 1) I can't get 100W on 12M and get the other power levels to work. Meaning, I set up 12M to do 100W at 100% drive, The other power levels start out too high and for some, I run out ...

I will take a look. I did reinstall Thetis and it started working even whenADC1 was selected for RX2. I'll still read the post and see if it helps me make sense of things.
Thanks!

Thetis Anan G2 Ultro no adc1
Hi,
I have Thetis running on my Anan G2 ultra. I have the second rx enabled but get no signal. When I look at the ADC setup, ADC0 is assigned to RX1 and ADC1 is assigned to RX2. RX2 is not receiving any signal. If I switch RX2 to ADC0, I now get signals.

I notice there are several things that are not implemented yet when doing containers. My ultimate wish would be to have all elements available and start with a blank workspace and build a UI anyway you want.
So far, things are keeping me interested.

Re: Power calibration
Yes, there seems to be a lot of playing to do to get the most out of the radio. I knew this going in and is one of the reasons I got it.
Though, there really needs to be an offset feature like what's in Thetis for power calibration, makes all the difference between working well and not so good.

My usage model is both. I would like to leave my amp in standby or just off and have the slider be accurate. When I use the amp, I need 0-25W to be accurate. I would happily spend the time to calibrate it if it was supported.

Re: Power calibration
When I got mine, power was not set up out of the box, the limiting to 30W was not the TX settings, I did find those and set them.
Too bad the power settings don't have the same 10W steps that the meter settings have.

Re: Move UI elements
I did find where you can turn off many things, but without being able to move other things around, it does not get me to where I want to be.
Now I'm looking through the source code to see if I can find it. I can compile a working version of Thetis, so I will see what I can figure out.
