Gary,
Thanks for the suggestion. The setup screen was very intuitive; I had it up and running in about five minutes, including the web server.

Re: Even Better PureSignal Performance on your Apache Labs radio
It's interesting that leakage is similar between the 7000 and G2 models. As shown, an approximately 24 dB IMD improvement on 10m is a substantial numerical improvement. But even with the jumper in place - 50 dBc is still quite good, made even better with the jumper removal.

Re: clean rf sampler
Nicely built using the recycled Pomona enclosure! Be mindful that the In/Out BNC jacks are good up to about 1200W into a 50-ohm resistive termination. The connector's 500V rating is a limit during high SWR conditions.

Attached are measurements of RL-2 Isolation in a G2 manufactured in 2024 as a function of frequency from 2-30 Mhz. Also attached is the functional block of the 8000 showing that it too is likely to benefit by this simple but effective improvement.

The termination Z at the PureSignal sampling port is at or near 50+j0. The PureSignal load does not (or should not) appreciably change as a function of frequency, even with changes in 50-ohm sampling cable length and nothing else is in the sample signal path. The capacitive sampler performs no ...

I found the LPF board designed and manufactured by RZ1ZR, saved by archive.org in 2018. It no longer appears in the same form and layout as shown on his current website.
Now compare it to the Mercury III LPF board as shown by AE5X on his blogspot.
Both images attached.

The VAC range was set early on to accept 8 kHz to 196K sample rates. That was from Nigel, a long time ago. However, I just forced all VAC cables to a 48 kHz SR and the overflows stopped. That corrects the spur problem but there's still no decode.

I see no reason to change R4/R5 to match the schematic. Any necessary gain change can be effectuated by changing only R8.
