Re: Olliter software looks a LOT like Thetis
One aspect I am uncertain about, due to the timeline, is the resampling code by Bryan W4WMT. As far as I can tell, it is not present in PowerSDR mRX, since features like VarRatio do not appear in the VAC setup (though I have not reviewed the source code). However, its inclusion in their ...

Did we ever figure out whether there was a good reason for that "ps bypass" behavior being there in the first place?
It was obviously coded that way on purpose (not a bug).

I also got the "India customs" excuse, sadly.

Hi Doug,
You are free to set ASIOblocknum to 1 or 0, but the minimum size of 2 is enforced by the code in WDSP anyway. So, a setting of 2, 1, or 0 will all result in the same number of sample blocks being held by the ring-buffer - namely two.

Hi Doug,
Yes, the default ring-buffer size is 5 sample blocks. The ASIOblocknum registry key value is there for situations where 5 is not adequate. If you reduce it too low, you'll get obvious audio artifacts as audio samples are being lost.

Hi Craig,
I agree that this really seems like a hardware issue.
The RX2 port on my G2 is seeing the exact same signal strength as the RX1(ANT1) port.
Might be time to reach out to Doug?
Too bad though, it being a brand new rig and all

If by "core software" they mean WDSP and ChannelMaster, I don't see how they can keep it private under the terms of GPL 2.0.
In fact, I believe they are required to release the source code concurrently with the executable object code (as we do on GitHub).
Although, I am definitely NOT a lawyer!
