Re: ANAN 200D 6m current?
200D normally draws noticeably more current on 6M .at 100w cw or FM.Sounds like yours may be in trouble. Are you testing with a dummy load? Some loads are poorer matc at 6M than lower bands as well.

I use the RF2KS also. Also 450 ohm line on similiar antennas here. The power meter in it factory calibrated works fine. Bypassed or not. Just do not drive it with too much exicter power.

Re: Anan G2 blacl face Overpowered
Sounds like you are on the correct track. Simplest is to use a reasonably accurate watt meter on you Anan transmitter out into a dummy load rared mire than 109 watts. May need ti keep transmisions short to not overheat the dummy load and transmitter power will change a few watts as it heats up. DO ...

Unless you are hearing audio pops clicks or dropouts on receive and similiar on tx sequence error not a worry. At higher sampling rates you may discover rx audio gets nasty if you are underpowered. Newer version processors whether win 10 or 11 may have more cores than your older win 7 machine that ...

It would probably be better to switch it to a 50 ohm load when not in use.
That would add complexity to switches. Found terminating relays/switches costing as much as a new Anan.
I have a well shielded t/r relay 12v N connectors with spec of 80 db isolation between ports and non shorting. I see ...

Try wider receive bandwidth filter. For US should be at least 5Khz for wide deviation .It may default to 2.5 khz wide .

Rob:
I had this experience first year I had my 200D. Was OK then low to very low power 10/12 meters at least. Doug had to replace entire filter board as an inductor cooked a nasty scorch in it.
Use an 8000 also no power issues.
Hope you sort this out Richie.

Look for the Bootloader switch on the bottom or back of case. No jumper except on 100d and older ones. My 200D has switch on the bottom and 8000dle and 7000 on the back. Yours should be below the 10mhz reference SMA connector.

I am probably having the same issues. Anan 200D using USB mic. on Vac. Reported on LSB. Does appear to be grabbing a bit of RX audio on initial keyup. Thetis 28.11. I suspect that changing some keyup delays may help. Have not tried to modify any lately.
