Just noticed that the Lock function does not work in 2.10.3.4. The LED next to the Lock button on the Andromeda lights up, but I can still change the frequency using the encoder.

Re: Thetis v2.10.3.3 released
I suppose one could argue that a chocolate teapot could hold cold tea, but the taste may be a bit strange. I am simply using the mode dependent settings form to enable compression and the TX equalizer, The settings are not saved - at least they are not showing up when Thetis is re-started. UPDATE: A...

Hi Richie,
Changes made in the Mode Form do not seem to be save when I close and restart Thetis.
Also, note that the Finder menu item does not show up on my Andromeda. Perhaps it could be implemented as one of the buttons on the bottom of the display?

False alarm.
The problem was that Thetis defaulted to Hermes hardware. After correcting it to 7000DLE 2nd RX is back in business.
Sorry for the noise.

Re: Thetis 2.10.1 Released
Thank you for the update, which fixed the Mode form. Alas, something got screwed up with the RX path to the second ADC. I get no rx on the second ADC unless there is an antenna attached to the the primary (first) ADC. I then get the full signal. I did try and play around with the ADC settings, but t...

All, I would like to point you to dl1ycf's latest variant of piHPSDR. The scripts also compile and install wsjt-x...

Re: Thetis 2.10.0 Released (G2 users take note!)
Thanks for the update, but PLEASE consider Andromeda. The Mode dependent display is just a black frame. As well, there is no way to set up voice squelch that I can see. The Andromeda display seems to have increased slightly in height. The bottom information (Voltage, various noise derivatives) is pa...

Hi Jim, I tried another adapter, too, but it did not work. Only when I updated the computer firmware and driver did it work (with the original adapter). Note that you have to go into the setup for the adapter, which should be a Windows application. Also, in Windows Settings, check that you have a se...

Re: Thetis v2.9.0.8 - meters and then some more
Well wonders do happen, MNF is now working! Keep in mind that I use Andromeda and therefore normally use the collapsed display. The quick menu at the bottom has an "Add MNF Notch" button. When tapping that, the MNF display does indeed show up on the display, but the notch is not actually s...

Re: Thetis v2.9.0.8 - meters and then some more
Hi Mark,
Well, the "Active" box is checked as is the "Notch #" (=0), so I guess that means the MNF is active. If the Active was not checked the notch would not show on the panadaptor.
I am going to try going back for P1 firmware.

Yes Ernst, MNF is switched on and the display shows it. I can also drag it across the spectrum, but nowhere does it change the audio or the S-meter. I have tried to delete both the data directory and the the Thetis directory in Program Files. I then started Thetis and waited for the Wisdom file to r...

Re: Thetis v2.9.0.8 - meters and then some more
Hi Mark,
Yes, the notch appears to be active - visually, but no affect on the audio. Also, I can drag it on the panafall.
The width is set to 200Hz, so it should be easy to cover the carrier, especially at 4x magnification.

Re: Thetis v2.9.0.8 - meters and then some more
Back to the Manual Notch. I had it working around the end of March. Then the carrier disappeared, but now it is back and the MANUAL NOTCH DOES NOT WORK. It displays OK, but does not do anything to the carrier. I have re-loaded the firmware (V2.1.26 Protocol 2) and re-installed Thetis (2.9.0.8). I al...

Re: Thetis v2.9.0.8 - meters and then some more
Manual Notch fixed! I used firmware 2.1.18, which turns out to be the wrong one. It is now 2.1.26c and the manual notch now works as it should. There is no serial number on my Andromeda - at least on the outside of the box - so I had to guess when I first updated the radio to Protocol 2. 73 de va7qi...

I don't actually use the new meters, but I have a problem with manual notch. I installed this version on my new Andromeda. I was much pleased to see that the manual notch filter working exceptionally well - important here since I have some kind of carrier right in the middle of one of my 80 m net fr...

jviactor1,
Have you tried to drag Thetis over to the second (and presumably larger) monitor? A fully expanded Thetis will need a monitor with a higher resolution than the built-in 7 inch monitor.

Andromeda 2nd Monitor
Hello Andromeda users, Andromeda is shipped with a Thundebolt adaptor (USB, HDMI, network) - at least mine was. I tried several HDMI monitors, but none worked. To make a long story short: the fix is to update the NUC BIOS. Intel has a nice utility for the purpose which will download the latest drive...

Re: Interfacing Thetis to N1MM?
Hi Scott, It is working now. It was the firewall on Windows 11. It turns out that it is not enough to turn the LAN firewall off; the domain firewall also must be off. I am not on a formal domain, but I guess MSFT thinks so. BTW an observation: RX2 now remains enabled on Andromeda, but N1MM only sees...

Re: Interfacing Thetis to N1MM?
Well, some progress. After changing the IP address to Andromeda's WiFi interface, I saw that RX2 got turned off by N1MM. It - once - set the frequency to the default for 80 m (3600), but never read the frequency from the radio when I changed it - and I still get the same error on N1MM. It is almost ...
