Re: Recorded audio plays at twice the TX bandwidth
I never use this function myself, but FWIW be sure to have DC blocking turned off, and to have the VAC option set to allow playback. Where do I find the option to "have DC blocking turned off?" I have not "Bypassed VAC for Recording Playback" (box is unchecked) so I should be fi...

DUP was OFF.

Re: Why does TX EQ revert to ON?
Richie, Not sure if this has anything to do with my observation but I am using P1 and will only start using P2 once I am much more familiar with Thetis. Best! JJ The link was to the beta/patched version of Thetis which can run P1 or P2. The beta includes the check box for highlighting TX profile it...

Can I “toggle” between Thetis and DAW processing in same Data Base
Below, the different audio processing scenarios that I am employing when processing my audio (VAC1 always enabled): 1). Thetis only (without Voicemeeter) 2). DAW only (in conjunction with Voicemeeter) 3). Thetis and DAW both in a “hybrid” configuration (ditto above at #2) Now, I am building differen...

Re: Recorded audio plays at twice the TX bandwidth
I have not looked into it, but if you playback when not TX'ing then audio presented on both sidebands in the spectral area. If you MOX/PTT then hit playback it should be correct (and correct over the air). R. Richie, My intent is to be able to play audio back to a station that is interested in hear...

Recorded audio plays at twice the TX bandwidth
Hi, I was testing the recording feature of (I am using VAC, not sure this has anything to do with this) Thetis and made an audio clip of someone’s transmission. Then (I went in the dummy at this point as I was merely testing) I play the just recorded transmission and what I saw was odd. The transmit...

You can select an option in setup to highlight everything that is stored in a TX profile, for checking purposes.

Why does TX EQ revert to ON?
Hi, I have been enjoying playing with different audio processing tools now that I got Live Professor 2 (VST Host) working with Thetis, but I am puzzled by the TX Equalizer setting. When I created the TX profile (I didn't save the TX profile per se) I switched off the TX Equalizer completely, but aft...

You are getting closer with your third set of screenshots. You certainly are patient! :) Our messages crossed again and you had not seen the 4th set of images. Scott, Here's my thinking of the audio flow and routing on VMB (remember, I am still steeped in traditional analog/hardware thinking....it's like a swamp that has sucked me in) in sequence: 1. Audio from MIC goes into LEFT Channel on my Steinberg UR22 Audio/USB Interface ( = Hardware INPUT A1 on VMB...

Re: Low power out from Ameritron AL-811H Amp
Scott,
Exciting Amp with 50W from radio and when asserting TUN, I get 400W out from the Amp and when asserting the two-tone test signal I get the same 400W out (I was in the dummy load during these tests).
I don't use Pure Signal as of this writing, but will do in future.

Low power out from Ameritron AL-811H Amp
Hi, Again, I am shooting in the dark here as I am a complete green-horn on ANAN! Before I transitioned over to ANAN I used my plain-vanilla Ameritron AL-811H amp without any issues and if there were any it was fairly straightforward to fix it. Now, when I get on 40 meters the amp doesn’t put o...
