Re: New -10/-100 16-BIT Hermes Protocol 2 Firmware Topic

Gents, I was seeing the same symptoms as you guys are reporting (difficulty getting and keeping a PS "lock"), and I'm getting much better results now so I want to report my observations in the hope that it may benefit some of you. DISCLAIMER: I'm running Thetis 2.6.9 on a 7000DLE MKII but ...

Re: Powered Speaker for my setup !!

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 in my shack. The satellites are perched on either side of my 40" monitor and the subwoofer resides under the bench.

An A/B switch flips the speakers between the Anan headphone jack or the PC.

Re: Can't connect to my 7000DLE MKII after rebooting computer

Thanks Scott, I got it running again with help from Rob's guide.

The problem was caused by the Windows Update, it disabled the DHCP on the PC's Ethernet port.

Thanks again for the assistance,

Mark

Can't connect to my 7000DLE MKII after rebooting computer

I've had my radio for 2 weeks now, been running Thetis since new (updated to v2.7.0 a few days ago, been running nicely) and decided to reboot my computer this morning. Windows performed an update during the reboot (not sure if that's relevant to my problem) and now I can't connect to the radio any ...

How to remove the cover on 7000DLE MKII black version?

I know that sounds like an unbelievably stupid question, but I can't find any information on how to open the case on my radio. I'm having a serious problem with PureSignal acquiring and maintaining a "lock" and I want to inspect the internals to see if maybe something is loose inside the r...

All Bands are Dead on Receive

Hi all, I just received my new 7000 MkII black version yesterday and can't get the panafall to show any receiver activity in any band. It's as though there's no antenna connected, even though I do have my 80/40 dipole connected as Antenna 1. I can attach or remove the antenna from the Ant 1 connecto...

Re: How do I update firmware on black 7kMKII with no Bootloader Switch on rear panel?

Depending on the specific 7000 variant you have, some have the bootloader switch on the rear panel, others have it on the underside of the unit. So check the bottom of your unit. And when you do this, make sure you label the switch positions so you don't get confused. Thanks for that heads-up Scott...

Re: How do I update firmware on black 7kMKII with no Bootloader Switch on rear panel?

Download the HPSDRBootloader installer for Windows HERE. Install the HPSDRBootloader software. Connect the radio to your computer network using an ethernet cable. Place the radio into bootloader mode using the slide switch on the bottom panel. Power the radio ON. Having a direct ethernet connection...

Not sure what you mean by "operating manual", here is what page 55 looks like in the ANAN-7000DLE MKII User Guide, I see nothing in there that addresses my question:

How do I update firmware on black 7kMKII with no Bootloader Switch on rear panel?

Gents, This is my first post in the Community. I ordered a new black-face 7000DLE MKII last week from the Apache Labs website, they sent me an email stating that my radio should ship next Monday (so I don't actually have it yet). Here's my concern: I've looked everywhere I can think to look, and I h...
