Can you show the settings screen from Voicemeeter and a snapshot of the full mixer panel too?

Re: Anyone still working on linHPSDR?
He had mentioned to me that he was mainly working on the Pi controller version. I ran into some audio issues that I think were a sampling rate thing with Ubuntu 22.04 last I was playing with it. It was too far over my head in the code to get it fix with random hammering on it. My audio is all virtua...

Voicemeeter Potato pre-release with new processing features
Just popping in to say if people have not yet noticed, the pre-release of Voicemeeter Potato has additional processing functions built into it now. Six band parametric EQ Compressor Gate De-noiser Reverb Delay I was using Voicemeeter with Reaper DAW patched in and just disabled Reaper to try the bui...

The TX EQ will have an effect.
I just save a separate AM transmit profile with more of the low end reduced in the TX EQ and the carrier level set to 85.

Re: Identifying strange panadapter waveform
And what makes you say it's VAC instability? Not sure that would explain why resetting audio in Thetis fixes it (other than recreating the audio device to VAC). VBAudio is used by audio professionals with multiple tracks without any such problems. FWIW the same instability happens with my Sun SDR a...

Re: The Adaptive Pre-distortion (APD) rabbit hole
Ah makes sense. You'll find there are a few parameters you can set now with with recent work by several contributors, and the responsiveness is now quite good. Would you please elaborate on that? Which controls would that be? There are some odd mythologies passed around about Pure Signal and there ...

Re: Do you have ASIO working with any digital programs like FLDigi, WSJT-X, or JTDX?
I think Scott has a Voicemeeter howto here somewhere, it's kind of abstract without pictures. Your microphone interface typically gets assigned to Input 1 and would use ASIO if your USB interface supports it. The radio gets attached via one of the three virtual busses. As an example let's use VAOI3 ...

Re: Do you have ASIO working with any digital programs like FLDigi, WSJT-X, or JTDX?
I think people are confusing the path. ASIO is for your physical interface. When you connect Thetis and fldigi you aren’t using your microphone audio interface, you just need a software link between the digi software and Thetis. A virtual audio cable gives you that software link. Voicemeeter effecti...

With SDRs, RF getting into the audio often sounds like reverb, it doesn't typically have the same sound as a conventional rig with RF on the audio.

Re: Problem loading firmware on 7000
I just re-read this thread and this occurred to me. Radio on protocol 1, Proto 1 programmer is used to load protocol 2. Once protocol 2 is loaded the protocol 1 programmer will say it can't find the radio. All you do is power cycle the radio and go. You have protocol 2 now loaded. If you check the r...

Re: Possible remedy to instability with USB interfaces - a dedicated USB card
I am wondering if you have tried different USB cables? Even though the Motu has a USB C port, it is a USB 2.0 protocol. On some of the Audio forums I saw a recommendation to use a Samsung USB C to A cable. I don't know if maybe a high quality cable from like USBGear or Showmecables might help. Also...

Re: Possible remedy to instability with USB interfaces - a dedicated USB card
So this morning on Windows I set up for 48kHz with 64 buffer. It glitched a few times with getting Reaper to play nice. Then Thetis did its thing where I had to toggle the sampling rates around a few times, toggle VAC on and off, before it would "sync" and play ball. It's solid as I'm runn...

Re: Possible remedy to instability with USB interfaces - a dedicated USB card
The results so far are that things are definitely more stable than they were. I've only had one glitch on startup and it was on Windows with Thetis. I've not tried pushing the buffers smaller yet, trying to observe with the known configuration first. Still testing at 48kHz and 256 buffers on the Mot...

Re: Possible remedy to instability with USB interfaces - a dedicated USB card
Just using one of the type A ports as the interface doesn’t really support or need USB 3.0. It probably won’t get you below 70ms. I have no need for that with my operating. Considering the transition of TX and RX getting that low is quite a task. I run the auto mode for the ring buffers, far less tr...

Possible remedy to instability with USB interfaces - a dedicated USB card
It's pretty early, just a week or so in, so anecdotal rather than definitive... I've always had odd issues with USB interfaces, a Focusrite 8i6 and now my Motu M2 where when you start up with Voicemeeter and DAW or when you stop and start various SDR software that fairly often you get grungy jittery...

Re: linHPSDR with some bug fixes
I don’t believe PS is actually implemented. I tried multiple things to get some sign of life with no luck. I do like the feature where you can make the TX and RX filters track each other. I also went into the code and changed the preset filter defaults to open down to 50Hz and the widths indicative ...

Re: linHPSDR with some bug fixes
I just built it a few days ago, it works on RX but on TX there seems to be some sort of audio buffer issue going on. I get snaps and pops like an old record. It's readable but it's just kind of embarrassing to run. I'm running a low-latency kernel and with the Ubuntu Studio setup. I tried modifying ...

Re: Frequency calibration? BPSK button? skewed from dial
Ok, so be careful, this information may get stale... The BPSK button is there for calibrating against a frequency source...that I don't have. So when I hit it, the software took off applying a "correction" without a reference signal to set it with. The fix is in the .props file. This file ...

So, the BPSK button seems to be somehow related to frequency calibration. Tune to WWV in SAM mode it skewed back closer to zero. I've been unable to get it to actually calibrate to zero again however so still looking for any hints as to where calibration is stored or how to get this re-zeroed. It wa...

Frequency calibration? BPSK button? skewed from dial
I just built linHPSDR today, on an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS system. Compiled and runs nicely btw. It was all working fine until I got my monkey paws into something that screwed it up. It has something to do with the BPSK button. The frequency is now skewed quite far from what the VFO is reading on both RX a...
