Thanks John for sharing this information!
Although this whole design is not really conducive to easy remote operation, which is advertised on the Apache Labs website.
I'll get a few 7000 or 8000s and put them in stock.

how did you make your s-meter smaller to go between the nB buttons and the others
You can resize every meter container by dragging the right bottom edge of the container (a double arrow will apear)

Hi Ernst, Do the wheels work when you place your finger on the "bezel" ? Talking about the Numark DJ2Go2 Touch Midi Controller that you have working with "some oddities." I assume that when you do the programming you can rotate the wheels by placing your finger on the bezel. I p...

Re: VFOA and VFOB windows not showing correctly
That's the problem with 4k. It is advertised as high quality (which it is). The problem is that it makes a difference whether the display is used as a television or as a computer screen. 4k only makes sense as a computer screen if the display size is at least 40 inches or if you have eyes like an ea...

Hi I am having rf issues with my 7000dle mkIII. Distorted audio and when it distorts My buddy says it sounds sort of like darth vader. It kind of pulls down the radio frequency or warbles it. I was wondering if the10mhz in and the xvtr port should be terminated. I am having a heck of a time getting...

Re: What are the midi controllers that work.
The list will be vastly increased as I have just fixed an issue where more modern controllers give additional 14bit midi messages for sliders/controllers. The messages for those knobs/sliders arrive in pairs and the midi config was getting confused. As a quick fix we are now ignoring the 14bit mess...

Re: Which one? Anyone compare them?
Yesterday I configured a Numark DJ2Go2 Touch. Some oddities, but overall works great! * main knob in the center (top) is not a knob, its only a switch (values 1 or 127) * left and right slider are "reversed", so 0 is on top, 127 is on buttom (Richie has already added a fix, will be in some...

Re: Programming PTT function as a toggle
Apologies if this question has already been answered! I do see a few threads talking about the PTT function, but as I am complete MIDI newbie I am posing questions that may be infantile indeed. Presently, I have a hand-switch plugged into the front mic port, but I would much rather use a MIDI contr...

Voicemeeter virtual ASIO or WASAPI?
Virtual ASIO is working fine here, For VM WASAPI I didn't find a working combo (buffer/sr/ringbuffer).
Presonus WASAPI is working great.

Re: JTDX jumps 500hz on TX
Hi, I cannot replicate the issue. Running JTDX 2.2.160-32A-rc3. Control is set to TCI Receiver 1. Split operation in JTDX is set to "Rig". If I select 14,074 and TX at 200Hz, VFO-B shows up (correct) 14,0725. If I move TX-freq up to 2900 Hz, VFO-B shows 14,075, which is also correct. If I ...

Re: FT8 Thetis dont transmit after 15/20 minutes standby
Hi, I am using JTDX. audio is routed via VAC (in my case via Voicemeeter Potato). Cat is configured via TCPIP-Cat. Rig: TS2000, COM-Port: 10.0.0.5:13013 (yes, its not a COM-Port, but JTDX (or hamlib) does recognize this). PTT is selected "via CAT". I have sometimes JTDX running (idle) for ...

Re: TCI with RF Kits RF2K amplifier
For using TCI (or also TCPIP-CAT) "outside" the local machine (PC) it is important, that you bind the TCI-Server in Thetis not to the loopback-address (127.0.0.1) but to the actual IP-address of your PC (mostly 192.168..... or 10.0.0....). 127.0.0.1 is only reachable ON the current PC, not...
