Just a generic comment. Digital modes even with the on/off cycle of FT8, are high duty cycle. It's much like AM or FM while transmitting. I don't run any of my 100W rigs above 25W on digital modes. A tip. If you use Audacity to record test or voice keyer wav files, you can apply the amplify Effect to 0db with no clipping allowed and save the wav after that.
