Headphone Jacks Not Working on Anan 7000 DLE MK2

Postby ron4094 » Sun Nov 13, 2022 4:04 am

I have an early version of the Anan 7000 DLE MK2 with the gray cabinet and brushed aluminum front panel. Suddenly the headphone jacks on both the front and rear panels stopped working in receive. They do work for the monitor function when transmitting. As an experiment I changed the database to an earlier one that I had used for over a year but the headphone jacks still didn't function. Is there something that I should try though it sounds like a hardware issue to me. I am using Thetis V2.8.11 x86 (10-20-20) MW0LGE 21i

It can't be a hardware problem because you can hear MON audio.

Is Master AF turned up?
Is RX1 AF turned up?
Is MUT off?
Is AGC Gain set appropriately?

And your version of Thetis is ancient. You should upgrade to the latest version of Thetis, 2.9.0.6, which can be found here. The x64 (64 bit) version, of course.

Thanks for the reply. It was the Master AF.

I'm aware that my version of Thetis is old. The SSD in my new Windows 11 computer just failed. This was my main computer and had the latest 64 bit version of Thetis. As a result I had to temporarily go back to my 32 bit Windows 7 computer with the old version of Thetis. In switching computers I overlooked the Master AF assuming that all my settings were normal. I had assumed that if there were any software or settings changes, importing an earlier database would resolve this. Apparently the Master AF is not saved in the database. My error.
