Which EQ to use

Postby Platemodulation » Wed Jul 27, 2022 7:17 pm

Hello every one I am new to the sdr world . I inherited some Circuit Research Labs processors SEP 400/ PMC300 and Radius 40 voice processor. I wanted to try and use the gear with my Anan 200d and/or use it with my ( AM ) transmitter.Do I leave the eq flat on the Radius 40 and set the eq on the SEP 400 :?: How do I set the eq :?: The Anan produces good audio I wanted to try for a different sound

I would DEFINITELY use the Radius 40 to cut the initial lows a bit to tame the significant boomy mud around 160 hz. Maybe another cut around 320hz for room resonance. Wide boost to the highs centered around 2.5 - 3khz. Do some light compression, and expander to cut room hiss and noise. Not sure about the 200d, but i think it has a line-in if you aren't using the Virtual Audio method. Youtube how to setup a mic channel strip for beginners if this is your first time.
