Does the G2 have a female or male mini XLR plug for a balanced mic? I was looking at Amazon for a cable for my Behringer uv1 audio interface, which has male XLR out for a female plug.

Mine has a balanced TRS jack. After the FPGA firmware update it works. The mic input preamp has very high gain. Requires turning ur mic setting WAY DOWN.
My RE-320 dynamic has +20 dB turned off and use a mic setting of (-)5 dB compared to (+) 21 compared to the 7000DLE Mark 3.

My G2 is fully functional. Thetis 2.10.1 still has database save issues.; having to reset mode and band on Thetis startup.

That's interesting. It says "Mini XLR Mic Input with preamp." and the picture looks like a mini XLR jack. I also have an RE320 and I may just use the PC audio. I ordered the black face G2. I still wonder about any delay and also wondering if PTT works from a foot switch in Thetis.

I guess there are a few G2's that have shipped, but I'm not finding pictures or videos online.

If you use Facebook, there is an Apache Labs page that contains several photos of the interior and exterior of both versions of the G2 Saturn. Plus, there are some detailed images on different connections to the radio.
The photo on the Apache Labs website of the rear of the radio is incorrect. It looks like a 3 pin XLR connector. The radios ship with a balanced TRS connector on the back of the radio.
Apache labs really needs to update the photos on the website.

The rear connector requires a 1/4" TRS male connector.

I can see this Facebook page without an account. This has the same image as posted above. Taking a look.

Okay, I found a post on Facebook that shows the TRS "XLR" jack. Got it.

When it prompts for a login, just hit the escape key. I was able to browse the page for a while, but then got nagged for an account. I went ahead and created one just for the Anan group.
