I was working the 'WWA' event this past week and I noticed my logging S/W was not changing to CW mode. It would change to USB, LSB, AM, FM, FT8 and FT4 but not CW.
I've recently started using CMaudio with a Behringer UMC202HD and ASIO driver. I also know that I no longer have cw sidetone. Could this CW mode info not being sent to Log4OM be a side effect of CMaudio?
I'm using Thetis ver 2.10.3.5 u2 and interfacing Thetis to Log4om with TCI.

Log4OM not receiving CW mode info
Re: Log4OM not receiving CW mode info
Disclaimer: I don't use Log4OM.
TCI is not 100% implemented in Thetis.
Try using the network hamlib method instead. See page 23 in the Log4OM manual and also this link: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=4249&p=28188
If Log4OM is built using the latest version of hamlib you should see "Thetis" as an option in the "rig model" list. Otherwise just choose any "PowerSDR" or "Kenwood" option.

No, it's not a side effect of CMaudio.
There is no CW sidetone available when VAC or CMaudio is used. It is generated in the FPGA and is only available when the connecting to the audio outputs on the ANAN unit. Unfortunately the original design team could not figure out how to implement CW sidetone in PowerSDR and this omission has carried over into Thetis. It is something that is fixable and that IMHO should be fixed. The fix would require a change in the firmware as well.
The work-around is to go old school and provision a desktop code oscillator on your key and/or keyer.
Re: Log4OM not receiving CW mode info
Problem solved.
Thanks for the info Scott, the issue was in Thetis. I stared to poke around the Network/TCI screen and Enabled 'CWL/CWU becomes CW (out). CW is now showing up in Log4om when going into CW mode on Thetis.
Thanks for your help, it got me think about how the data was transferred to Log4OM.
