Diversity issue with 7000dle mk1

SO, I'm having an issue with getting diversity to work on my 7000dle MK1 that I acquired a few months back. Alsoim using the latest official Thetis release. It worked flawless on my 200d. The issue I'm having is, it's like there is no antenna plugged into the RX2 jack on the radio, when there is. In tbe diversity screen, if I switch to just the rx2 antenna, the signal goes flat, like there is nothing hooked up. I've tried different DDC assignments with no luck. There must be something in the menu that I am missing.
Any help for this feeble mind would be greatly appreciated!

Does RX2/ADC2 work normally outside of diversity mode?
What connections did you make on the back of the 7000?
Protocol 1 or 2?
Post a screen shot of your DDC assignments.

Verify that VFO A and B are both on the same band.
I have this issue when not activating "VFO Sync" button after a SPLIT operation.
Will be nice to have an option to auto activate "VFO Sync" when going out from SPLIT.
