I have been trying to get my 7000 {silver} transmitting. No Joy!
I purchased it just before our move to a new state. Had my 200D running on my NUC with v3.4.9.
Trying to get my new 7000 up and running on the NUC. It is connected to my dummy load and neither v3.49 nor Thetis v2.9.0.6 x64 will make the radio transmit. I have been trying to calibrate the transmit to 100w out before operating the radio on the air.
The 200D is long gone and the 7000 has been setting for about 2 years in storage. Both PowerSDR and Thetis have control of the radio. Both indicate that the radio is in tune mode [relay clicks] but neither the software watt meter nor my outboard watt meter show rf power out.
I have tried tune at 5 to 100 watt with no RF output. I have tried a mic and it shows good modulation with no rf out.
Both programs show rf out should be going to antenna 1 output. The dummy load is connected to antenna 1. The receive seems to work well as I have a large spike from something probably in the house on 160 m.
Is there something simple I am over looking or did I lose the finals?

7000 {silver} will not transmit.
Re: 7000 {silver} will not transmit.
Go to Setup/General/Ant/Filter and check if you activated the "Disable HF PA" option.

Re: 7000 {silver} will not transmit.
No sir, that option "Disable HF PA" is not checked. Maybe something else I forgot or did not remember doing. This software is so complicated some of us old folks are very happy with the default setup.
Thanks for the input.

Nope the [Receive Only] box is not checked. Just another one I didn't think about!
