lost radio sync

Postby Robert B. » Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:58 pm

As of today my Anan 7000DLE Mk2 (black facing) won't suddenly connect anymore to Thetis.
Yesterday (and all years before) it worked fine. Nothing has changed since yesterday i shut down thetis.
Now i start Thetis, it seems like a connection to the Anan and after 1 second 'lost radio sync' is displayed in Thetis.
I tried: to load a backup database, new installation of Thetis (on several systems), Bootloader to change the IP (and set the switch back in the good position), change networkcables, switches etc. In the general/hwselect/firmware box the IP adress is ok (scanned my network), BUT 'VER:??' and 'ID:?'and 'Protocol:?' are empty. Who can help?

Have you tried a direct connection between the radio and your computer? That would rule out any problems with the radio.

Time to get back to basics:

1. What is the network configuration? PC direct to ANAN? Through a switch? Please describe.

2. When you use Bootloader, does it find the ANAN?

Solved
Tried different computers, firewall check was ok, no updates on any devices. The problem was that someone who was visiting and wanted to work here with a laptop got the same DHCP IP-address of the Anan. Assigned a static IP-address to the Anan and all was solved. Thanks everyone

Thanks for posting. Perhaps setting ip address to static (vs reuse previous address which is how I had it set in Thetis) will eliminate the somewhat random loss of synch issue I had been having. this with a W10 computer directly connected to the 7000dle with a dedicated 2 port 1G ethernet card. thetis version 2.10.3.8x64 and FW 2.2.1 protocol 2.
