Hello,
I have been having a strange issue that my Anan 200d only communicates with Macbook pro 13 on a Bootcamp partition running windows 10 and using a thunderbolt to ethernet converter.

it does not work with any other laptop or desktop including a brand-new Alienware Desktop.
It's running Protocol 2. The network speed is 100mbps instead of 1 Gbps. It shows 1 Gbps speed the moment I connect it to the Macbook Pro 13.

I have tried a couple of TPlink USB to ethernet adaptors too. I have an Anan 100d which is having some other issues that relate to RX & TX
but it communicates and gets connected to all these PCs without any problems and also runs Protocol 2.

There is no network switch or router in between and it's a direct connection.

Please suggest how to resolve this issue so that I can run it with my Alienware.

What is the IP address of the 200D?

How is the 200D getting that address? Is it coming from your router DHCP server? Or did you manually program it in with Bootloader or HPSDR Programmer?

Static IP is programmed into Anan and PC.
Today I downgraded ANAN 200D to Protocol 1 as the speed I was getting is 100mbps and immediately it was detected
and working. I would like to go back to Protocol 2. It's a direct connection between the ethernet port of Alienware PC & Anan.

MY Anan-100D grey front does not like P2 also. Reverting it back to P1 RX & Tx started again. It used to connect to all PCs even when
it was running P2 and 200d P2 was not detected except Macbook pro with thunderbolt 2 Ethernet converter.

If you have P2 and a proper IP address programmed into the 200D and it is working on 1 PC and not another, then the problem has to be with the PC. If you are using different cables with the two PCs it might also be a cable problem.

Have you confirmed the problem PC works at GigE speed by connecting it to something else?

Have you tried swapping cables?

Cable problems can be quite subtle. GigE requires all 8 conductors. 100Mbit only requires 4 conductors. You can have a broken cable that only works at 100Mbit/s.

Whether I am using anan 100d or 200d network cable remains the same.

200d works with MacBook and thunderbolt 2 ethernet converter. Protocol was P2

IP was static in both radios.

In any of the pcs if 200d P2 was not working and showing 100mbps and instant swap with 100d P2 was having no issues and connection was instantaneous.

Yes all the pcs shows gigabit Ethernet speed.

I will be traveling to Bangalore for a few days tomorrow afternoon and will work on it again. I have several brand new cat 6 and a few cat 7 cables and a gigabit router and I have to dig the box out. Usually I used to use managed gigabit switches but they don't have DHCP server built in like routers if I remember correctly.
