Have not seen any SEQ errors for almost three years, then two weeks ago I had two consecutive days of errors appearing also Thetis freeze a couple of times. CPU load is very low with Ryzen 7, direct connection to the PC.
Same problem with piHPSDR on linux PC.

Problem went away for a week and now back again today.

The only change is I set a static IP when I started looking at piHPSDR.

Any suggestions?

If you can't tie it to a Windows update, and the problem is intermittent, then perhaps it's something as simple as a bad cable.

Hi Scott,
I do think that it is the cable, not the conductors but slightly sloppy plug and socket. The spare CAT8 cable is no better, don't like it as it is very stiff.
Using a flat CAT 7 cable but will get a replacement.

For a brief moment I was blaming the Windows update as I read on the forum just a few days prior someone else blaming windows, and I just happen to have done my updates just prior to starting Thetis.

So having piHPSDR I was able to eliminate that thought straight away.

I would encourage all Thetis users to install piHPSDR on a old spare PC or dual boot as it is useful as in my case to eliminate OS as a problem when things go a miss.

Cheers
Andrew
