Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
It looks like there is currently a lot of bashing against Apache Labs ongoing. I cannot say if justified or not but my experience is totally different.
From ordering to delivery took less than 4 weeks (ANAN G2 Ultra without display) which I consider acceptable. Tony responded to all my questions within one day. Some of these questions could be avoided if information such as order confirmation, money receipt confirmation, expected delivery etc would be provided automatically. Thus, there is room for improvement but having a response within one day is better than many other companies perform.
I certainly was highly alerted by the various posts concerning the business behavior of Apache Labs but this definitely was without any reasons.
I think it is common sense that some buyer's protection are put into place when ordering and buying over the internet. Apache Labs explicitly recommends this (maybe it was different in the past - I do not know).
I hope you find this useful.

Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
I wouldn't call: "Calling out a company that took your payment three weeks ago, won't answer emails as to an approximate shipping date, can't tell you when you will receive a product, which incidentally you paid in full and will be paying interest on and still not have it" Bashing...
If you take payment in full, you better have something to ship and you better be able to give a date.

Everything's good... Till it ain't.
Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
as said - I had a different experience. In case you paid using PayPal as advised, open a ticket. I know it is a lengthy and cumbersome process but the chances are high to get your money back.
Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
I had a ticket opened with Paypal, could have easily got my money back. THEN I received a reply via email "finally". So, I cancelled the ticket. Hoping if anyone plays games I can either re-open it or open a new one. I'm really hoping I just get the damn radio within a week or so.

W1SPS -- was your order updated on the website indicating that your order was paid, along with any other pertinent information -- or did you have to send emails to someone to get any type of status information? I think whatever details you can provide to this forum would be helpful to prospective buyers. It is informative to shine a very bright light on exactly how they handle business so we can all make well informed decisions.

Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
I paid the $1.00 to get on the ordering list.
Several weeks later I got an invoice via PayPal for the cost of the radio.
I paid the invoice through PayPal using my Discover Card.
The website only lists this:
ANAN-G2 HF & 6M 100W Ultra High Performance SDR (Without LCD Display)) $1.00
Quantity: 1
Pre-Order
Amount: $1.00
Payment Status: SUCCESSFUL Order Status: Pending
Payment mode: Paypal
Nothing on their website says anything about me being paid in full for the radio or gives any indication of shipping status.

I figured you would know who is involved in the moving of AL and what seems like restructuring. My guess is there is some super secret private investors. Not complaining but I hope this move corrects issues that have been ongoing.
Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update

I don't know anything about the inner workings of Apache! I'm just the poor slob who helps run this forum.
Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
Someone in US already tried to phone to that number (949-591-6895)?

Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
The area code and exchange is in Orange county California. ( near Los Angeles) Apache Labs USA is supposed to be in Sacramento California according to the papers they filed for their LLC.

Oh course not, they just posted this on the Apache site. Nice to see the progress for better Customer Service.
Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
I am happy to report that I have received my G2 Ultra. I paid the full amount in September and It was shipped with Fedex. Fedex took quite a while bouncing it around the NA continent. Nice looking radio.

Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
My G2 with display is one of the early ones. It has an echo in the xlr input on the back. I also was having difficulties updating the firmware. I contacted Apache Labs through their Facebook page. Yes they have one but it's hard to find. Tony responded and provided an Irvine CA address to ship it to for testing and repair. This Friday December 6 will be two weeks that they have had it. I've heard nothing yet but I'm giving them some grace due to the holiday.
I had originally asked if I could drive it to Sacramento and hand it off as it's an hour drive for me. I was informed it is not a walk in facility. I would presume people who work there walk in to the office from their cars but what do I know. I'll respond with updates as things progress.

Good luck!.
I had a mate here in VK that returned his 10 months old Andromeda for warranty repair when Apache-Labs were in Melbourne Australia. Over 2 years has passed now, no replacement, no repair and no return of his Andromeda. Countless promises by Apache-Labs that it was fixed and being shipped back, then it was un-repairable and would be replaced with a G2 and then no communication at all. He has nothing to show for his $5k purchase. Now the company moved to India and now the US? no walk in facility? even the dodgiest Online Computer shop has the ability for customers to arrange a time to pick up purchases, I smell more B-S. I would not ask, if its only 1hour drive, just turn up and ask for your G2 back.

Have an attorney write them a letter. A lot of attorneys will do this for a nominal fee. I'm not a lawyer and this is only my opinion.

Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
Well, after paying a $1500 USD deposit back in March 2024, and been told that I'd have an Amplifier in June, here we are on the last day of 2024...and no update, and no Amp. I have asked for my deposit back multiple times and simply been fobbed off with excuses and PayPal are not interested.
This is simply terrible treatment of a previous Customer of multiple Apache radios, and I'll never deal with Apache again. Good luck to those still hanging out for delivery of their radios.

I do not have the opportunity to use a lawyer, alas. It is too expensive, and will not be justified for this amount. Therefore, I ask if someone can help me personally, contact Apache and discuss my situation. I waited 2 years, wrote them letters., But they just simply IGNORE brazenly.
If anyone can help me, please contact me.

Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
amikosun I doubt that you have much chance of getting any money back. I have been asking for some months for a refund of my Amplifier deposit and have had nothing but excuses. I have tried making a claim though PayPal, but due to the long lead time from taking a deposit to the promised delivery date, Apache Labs neatly get around the 180 period that PayPal allow for a refund claim.
Apache Labs have used the excuse that PayPal are very slow to approve refunds outside of the 180 day period, but PayPal simply tell me that they will not approve any refunds after the 180 days.
Apache Labs could easily make a payment to you or myself, via PayPal, of the refund amount less any costs, and be done with the both of us but I very much doubt that this will ever happen. They now appear to be taking money and not delivering goods as is evidenced by the many on here who have been wating huge periods for their radios.
Apache Labs are quickly destroying any customer trust or loyalty and the legality of their actions is highly suspect in my opinion.

Re: ANAN-G2 Shipping Update
Hi,
you are not alone, here is also an OM who has about the same procedure with Apache, until today no refund of 1800$...
Here you will probably only get further with lawyer and authorities, we want to try that Paypal Apache freezes the account because of suspicion of fraud.
Perhaps a list should be drawn up in which those affected can sign up, perhaps with an outstanding amount in order to achieve more.

I have not yet heard other people who could not get the goods or money here. But exactly what you need to do something to return the money. PayPal will no longer help me, 2 years have passed since the payment.

A list is probably a really good idea...here on the Community pages so all can see what is going on.
I'll go first... VK4BG, $1500 USD outstanding and no goods.

then you should search for it in the forum and in groups.io, you will quickly find something.
I'll continue the list:
