Hi,

No, nobody here has contacted the police yet, but that would be the first step.

Apache has now made contact, probably from the Abhi itself, as the other mails are blocked by the Hotmail server.
The repayment should now be made by bank transfer, as Apache no longer uses / can no longer use Paypal due to problems?

I find it very unfortunate that the development of openHPSDR towards commercial interests has such effects.

What is Hotmail's problem, I don't understand

I did not pay through paypal, it was a direct payment somewhere to their account. I don't care how they return the money to me, the main thing is that they would return everything that I paid. Also, through the court, you can also demand interest for withholding money, since inflation has depreciated over these 2 years.

I will soon be paying interest on something I don't have. I don't mind waiting so much as being ignored. If no one can even give me an answer as to when something I paid for "MIGHT" ship, then just refund my money.

Rich--although Apache owns the server this forum resides on, actual Apache Labs folks read and post here only very, very rarely. Thus it's extremely unlikely anyone who would be knowledgeable about orders is seeing your posts.

The other issue to be aware of is it seems that the Apache mail server is not held in high regard by many of the other mail servers around the world. Thus your emails might not be getting to them, or their emails might not be getting to you. The only thing you can do is try to send mail from an alternate email address.

As for refunds, there are numerous posts on the forum about folks who could not contact Apache and instead had to contact their credit card company to reverse payment. Doing that always seems to get Apache's attention.

These days, anyone who puts an order in with Apache might strongly consider using a credit card and be very mindful of any time limits on their ability to challenge charges on the card.

Scott, for me, the main question concerns final payment. My past orders go back many years - never a problem. The same is true for my Deposit in 2022 - for the 1.5 SDR - and the Deposit made a year ago - for the 1.5 AMP. But how is Apache Labs currently requesting final payment? Obviously, I will pay with a VISA ... but can anyone who has recently received a notice/request for final payment - tell me how they received that request? Is Apache Labs sending emails from a particular email account ... with a link to use for payment? I would think that identifying the authentic route and method would be critically important for all who plan on ... one day ... making a final payment on an A.L. product.

In reality, although I am in my 4th Calendar Year - in terms of waiting, I do not expect the 1.5 SDR to even begin shipping until 10-12 months from now (if we are lucky). In fact, I actually expect the 1.5 AMP to begin shipping before the 1.5 SDR.

Anyone who knows me ... knows that I am a huge Apache Labs supporter. But the silence from ABHI is deafening. I know that both of the 1.5 PROJECTS / PRODUCTS are moving forward (I am confident of this), but common courtesy dictates that ABHI update the community.

To be clear, I am still a loyal Apache Labs patron! All of my ANAN 7000 MKII transceivers have performed flawlessly, and I can't imagine HAM RADIO without them. However, going 7 months since the last update opens the way for negative speculation.
