Guess I am not seeing my new 7000 DLE MKII that I ordered on June 13 2021 order umber AC-3277 any time soon? Good thing I picked up a 10E to keep me playing for a while.

My order for a 7000DLE MKII was placed May 11, so one month earlier than you. Still waiting. I know things are difficult right now so I have not bothered them about it yet, although it will be 12 weeks in just a couple of days. I have occupied myself by setting up a new operating position, new PC, and an audio chain. Just need the rig at this point.

This morning I received the balance invoice for my 7000, and paid it. So presumably my radio is shipping. Just a data point for others who are waiting. My order was placed in mid-May.

Bob, glad to hear yours shipped too. Sounds like they were able to assemble and release a batch. Wonder who will get theirs first? Mine is due Friday but, of course with things like this it could change.

Yes well……. at least Apache have two points of manufacture. So mine is coming from India. DHL says 15th for delivery but that is subject to lots of things, but as they say the end is nye, so time to have a new operating position ready. The PSU is ready, the new I7 machine is ready and loaded so lacking only one thing…..

The guys are certainly having a tough time of it in Melbourne, Lock Down that is.. It would be great if they just responded and kept people up to date, I have been trying to get an update on the shipping date for the "Controller V2" I placed th order at the same time as the 7000 in February, was informed of a manufacturing delay.. and lockdown happened and I am still awaiting the shipping of the Controller ... I have had to work remotely like a lot of people, just keeping people updated will stop us all getting annoyed... I will leave it at that.. please Abhi, what is the status, that is what we all would like to know...

Group,

I just got notification for final payment. I ordered mine June 11 2021. Do they email you a tracking number when it's shipped?

Thank you.

Yes they do and DHL send notification as well. Actual transfer of the payment seems to take nearly 24 hrs depending on relative time zone. And of course they don’t check their accounts every five minutes. so like I didn’t just relax and wait a little longer.

Mike, I paid my final invoice within an hour or two of receiving it. Then about 24-36 hours later I got a shipping email from Apache Labs and a separate email from DHL with tracking. The radio ships from New Dehli, the DHL tracking is excellent, and DHL is very fast. My radio is already in the USA at a sorting facility and delivery is expected Friday.

Humm. My friend received his 7000 DLE a few weeks ago FED EX. When I ordered three weeks ago I specified the radio be shipped to a FED EX store that will hold packages for me. No word on my email inquiry yet to Apache regarding this.

I am unsure if you are asking a question or having a problem? If you ordered your radio three weeks ago, you have more waiting ahead of you. My understanding is DHL is the default shipping Apache Labs uses. I've also heard that DHL is pretty much the best option for this kind of high-value international shipping.

I am well aware they are saying a 6-8 week lead time. In reality it looks more like a 10-12. Just trying to think ahead. If they don't catch the FED EX instructions and ship DHL then I maybe in for a snafu if it ships DHL and FED EX refuses delivery. That has happened to me with a UPS shipment intended for FED EX delivery. See my point? Anyway no word back from Apache. I am away often and have packages held.

I understand you now. Honestly, DHL is so good, I think you should figure out a way to make the DHL shipping work for you. Look at DHL's site and see if they have a location where they can hold it for you.

Apache Labs are good people and I have had no problem whatsoever with my order, which just arrived as I was typing this. The packaging looks great but I have not opened it yet. Will post one final message in this thread after I get the radio unpacked, and a basic function check complete.

HI All,
Well I still have not received any feedback in relation to my delivery, BUT I arrived home yesterday
and the was a box delivery by DHL.. wooohooo the Controller V2 arrived, I just sat there admiring
the controller for a couple of hours before powering it up and giving it a whirl. Boy oh boy, one happy
Chappy here...

So Guys, apart from the lack of communicative feed back, as they say in the classics, ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO HE WHO WAITS...

Regards all, Matt VK7MR. :D :D

My 7000 arrived yesterday. Arrived in perfect shape. I fired it up and got Thetis talking to it without any problems. Listened to some 75m last night and initial impressions are the receiver is fantastic. I have not transmitted with it yet as I want to get my LP100A meter set up with it first and a few audio chain bits squared away. So far, so good!

Wow!

The takeaway here is that, in order to escape the draconian CoViD-19 shutdowns in VK3, Abhi has been forced to revert manufacturing to India. That HAD to cost a bundle :-(

Thanks for info Steve. My invoice # is: AC-3307. This makes me think a six week wait maybe my fate as well!

You guys are lucky dogs. 1/3 the wait time of an order placed in the spring. Glad though that Apache Labs is getting a footing on supply chain and manufacturing.

How about this? Looks like Apache Labs is building 7000 DLE MKII (internal PC) into the Andromeda case. No mention or pictures on web site.
Interesting. This was posted by a Facebook user, and I borrowed the image for here.

Jeff here is the rear image of Matt's new 7000DLE MKII w/i7 CPU, looks like the difference from the Andromeda is it's missing the EXT FAN connector and the WI-FI connector.. My guess is this could be a new universal case system for the 7000DLE MKII non-PC, 7000DLE MKII with i7 CPU, and of course the Andromeda..

What the provenance on these photos? Are they truly a product of Apache, or is this someone's extremely well-executed, home-built, one-off project?

It's missing the ext fan connector so must be Apache
