Call Chris at FedX @888.327.3395 x 8381 and he will have an online form.

There is still hope to ship from Memphis today….

Hello Burl,

These forms are neither filled or provided by Apache, so must have been a mistake at FedEX.

Tony, Please see attached email clip from you with a link to the old forms. Apache did a good job contacting.
Fedex never called me and I left at least 10 messages and never got a response. My shipment was in customs for 5 days and no contact from Fedex

The good news, I will have my G2 100 today.

Hello Burl,

Great to hear you'll receive the G2 today,

I simply forwarded this email received from FedEx along with the attachments. It originated from FedEx just to be clear.

Enjoy your new rig.

Regards,

Tony

Feedex has no influence on this, if customs has goods to inspect, it can take up to 3 weeks. I have already had several court cases, that's how it is!

When I learned that my 7000DLE was hung up in Customs 3 years ago (after 3 days of wondering why shipping updates had simply ceased) I contacted Customs myself and learned that they needed more information before they would release the package (i.e., what was in the package, lots of specific info on me personally, what I intended to use the equipment for, etc.). I asked them if they would send me any form that was required, which they did. I filled out the form and faxed it to them and later that day the package was released to continue it's journey. I received the package 2 days later.

Hi Mark.
I wonder if there is any way to address this issue with customs at time of shipping? I just paid the final invoice—is there a specific form I should request from Fedex at this point?

It appeared to me at the time (3 years ago) that some radios were being stopped by Customs and some weren't, but I never understood the reason for that so I wouldn't begin to know how to preemptively provide them with any particular information they might decide they need at any particular stage of the journey.

However, looking back thru my emails with DHL I found a contact who was able to assist at that time with the Customs documents. Here's a snippet of her final email to me:

Hello Mark,

Please be advised that your shipment has received customs clearance release. You should expect delivery of your shipment 2/28 by 5pm. I do apologize for the delay If you need to make other arrangements with the delivery of your shipment such as reroute, hold for pick up or you may choose the delivery date that works best for you. Or need any other help with your shipment please go to http://www.dhl-usa.com/ondemand or call our customer service department at 1-800-225-5345.

Your shipment may be stopped for duty and tax payment. You can check on this using DHL’s tracking system to see if it has been stopped. If duty and taxes need to be received please contact:

http://www.dhl-usa.com/ondemand

or T# 866 638 7668 to resolve this issue, you can also contact duty_disputes@dhl.com If you have any questions or concerns regarding your delivery, or need any other help with your shipment. Please call our customer service department at 1 800 225 5345. I will now close the import file at this time, thank you for your assistance. Thank you for using DHL Express. Watch your email, you’ll receive two emails from a FedEx customs broker. The second is a doc sign that you will have to fill out and sign before it can be cleared. My email came about 24 hours before it hit customs.

The G2-100W Units are starting to ship and we will see pics and videos soon.
One thing I will say is Apache Labs may be slow with communication however I think they are a little better lately and not so good with keeping the website up to date and it may take a while to get your new radio but I rarely hear of an unhappy ANAN customer as far as how well the radio performs as most will say it’s worth it because the radios just perform exceptionally well.

The Americans buy everything, even with bugs, and 1kw is 500W for them.

I most certainly don't by everything, especially with bugs, and have never owned a 1kw or 500w radio OR amplifier in 40 years of hamming!
And this is my first Anan. :D

It appears you pre-ordered a G2 1000 watt radio. Maybe you started out ordering the 8000DLE MKII which never came about. And then you were offered the 1000 watt G2 Saturn for the same price as the 8000DLE MKII was going to sell for, before Apache Labs could not get the necessary parts for the original design.
If all that is the case, then once they get your new radio ready, you will be billed for the balance.
So far, they have not started shipping the 1000 watt radios.
I would email them if you have more questions.

Last I heard from admin, "ANAN-G2 1K radios are also in active production, due to the larger number of sub-assemblies these are taking longer than anticipated to assemble. I will share once we have a firm ship date on this model".

I read on the forum that the 500 watt version will be replaced by the 1000 watt version for free, but you need to pre-order if I understand everything correctly. Now I am completely confused and do not understand what to do.....

That's a good question Roger..

Mine has been flying here from AU since the 2nd of August. Apparently planes fly much slower in AU than they do elsewhere.

I received my G2-100 with front panel last week.

I've been very busy at work so I haven't hooked it up to my HF antennas yet (one employee had baby, one employee had mother pass away, others sick) .

When the radio arrived in U.S. I received an email and phone call that some paperwork needed to be filled out (Social Security #, etc).

The process went quickly and smoothly (it was a docusign online process).

Today I received an invoice from FedEx for "duty" in the amount of $41.66.

A little annoying as they charged Anan for shipping and now me for duty/tax. It could have been worse though. A couple of years ago I had a portable GMRS repeater shipped from China via DHL (Amazon purchase). When it arrived in Los Angeles DHL charged me $192 storage fee while it was getting cleared by customs...

The rig arrived in nice packaging and the box was pristine so it was handled with care.

If we are lucky it will under the Xmas tree.
I have trying to build a hydraulic control for a Versatile tractor (electronic ) it’s been 8 months so far and it’s not nearly as complicated as a radio! Just seems one setback after another! Sourcing parts is not that easy now days ! The person who has the parts will win in this environment!
However there’s a light at the end of this tunnel just hope it’s not the train !

Hi,
Is the ANAN-G2 100W (Without Front Panel) still shipping?
Or has it been postponed also?
And where would I be in queue? My order number is :AC-4144

Thanks,
