Catching up

Postby AE6VK » Sat Aug 18, 2018 5:01 pm

Long ago, I used to follow the original HPSDR development via their email list. I even built an Atlas backplane-based version and Janus, Ozy, Mercury, and Pennylane boards. Eventually, I wound up with a very early ANAN-10. I’ve been out of the game for a number of years, but am interested in getting back in. Is my old Apache Labs hardware still viable? Can I update the firmware to the current version? (What’s currently in there probably dates from 2012.) Is there a discussion somewhere that I can scan to get an idea of what’s been going on in the past few years? I really liked my ANAN and would like to get it going again. If anyone can help, thanks much.

The -10 is still totally viable. If you are posting in this sub-forum then you already saw the links to the latest firmware. Pop-up one forum level and you'll find tutorials for upgrading. Pop up another level and find the the links to the latest PowerSDR mRX PS software. Now get busy!

Great! I guess I’ve got a bunch of reading to do. Thanks.
