As we all know there is lot's of information regarding firmware for different radios and some times get a bit confusing to follow if your not right on top of it. So here it goes---
We have the older MKII running Ver: 2.1.18
Protocol 2 (v3.9)

Question--Is this still the current (latest) version UPDATE 2.1.18 14 Aug 2021 as indicated here----https://community.apache-labs.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=3192

I have a Andromeda with serial nr DX8300407-CIVA. Link to latest topic regarding firmware says the following:

"- Andromeda with serial number lower than DX8300497A (only 5 units built)"

"- Andromeda with serial number ending in -CIV"

So my serial nr is lower than DX8300497A but I have CIVA at the end. So the question is witch firmware should I download?

I don't know. That was the information I was given by Apache.

If you have CIVA on the end I would guess the firmware for the EP4CE.

I will have to double check with Apache to see if they gave me the correct information.

Ok loaded the EP4CE firmware with HPSDRBootloader and it worked. Your guess was correct. I was very happy when Thetis loaded and radio came alive. However I did run into a problem. Pure Signal is not working. When I activate PS-A I get SEQ ERROR 267. Any suggestions?

Sequence errors don't matter unless they are accompanied by audio glitches.

If PureSignal is not working then all you can do is try different firmware in the hope that it will properly close timing on your serial number. Go back to:

viewtopic.php?f=32&t=4462

Follow the link for "older firmware" in the EP4CE section. Read through that topic, download and try older versions.

If that doesn't work then you may be SOL where P2 is concerned unless and until any newer firmware comes along.

I found at least part of the problem. In PureSignal advanced window there is a Default button. Pressed Default and Pure Signal started working again. However SEQ error 267 still show sometimes. Audio sounds great.

Many of us have added another network interface (NIC) dedicated to the ANAN. That has often worked to clean up SEQ errors and other problems.
