My Order

Postby Mark C » Thu Apr 06, 2023 9:39 pm

Hi everyone.

I placed an order on March 27th for the 7000dle mk II. Tony had advised me that the NEW G2 would be a better choice, and after looking at the specs, decided I would go that route. I had already paid the $1000 deposit for the 7000, so Tony sent a bill for the remaining deposit required for the G2, which I also paid.

My problem. My order is still showing the 7000dle MK II with only 1k deposit. I have sent 9 emails to support of the last week, and still have not received a reply. I am running out of ideas. Anyone have any?

Mark

EDIT: Still sending Emails with no replies!

That seems like an oblique way of saying that 7000's will no longer be produced.

No idea on how to force Apache to respond. It's a constant problem for everyone.

Hi All
Just received a reply this evening. Tony said that my G2 was now on order and he confirmed the total deposit, but my order is still showing the 7000dle mkII and only 1000 on the deposit. So I returned another email and now will wait and see what happens.

Mark

Edit: Received another email, this time with a PDF file in it showing my deposit and the conversion to the G2 radio, however I expressed concern to Tony that MY order information is not showing it. I am rather confused to be honest. You would think that MY ORder information would show the same thing as the PDF file does. So sent out another email..keeping fingers crossed.

What exactly did you order, and was that exactly the same thing your friend ordered, and was it also exactly the same thing that got shipped on 4/4/23 to the person who ordered on the 28th?

If you each ordered exactly same item then perhaps you have a valid gripe. But if you ordered a plain (no CPU) 7000, and your friend ordered a 7000 with CPU, and the other guy ordered an Andromeda, then you're comparing apples and oranges and bananas. Each of those have different supply chain requirements.

I originally ordered a 7000, but switched to the G2.

The G2's are scheduled to be shipped around May 22....of course I am expecting longer, and I don't mind at all, I can wait.
My main objective was my order reflecting the fact that I ordered the 7000 first, and my order was then converted to the G2, and
my deposits reflect that.

I received a PDF from Tony showing that information, although when I log into the site and view my order, it doesn't.

But I am fairly sure that they have this under control and will find out one day.

UPDATE:

The website NOW shows the correct order information.

Many many thanks to Tony for his help in this. Thanks to all who replied and now the wait officially begins.

How nice they actually reply to you, they just ignore my many email about the defective order I received last year and the many follow ups since then for the replacement they provmised.

Rdwing....

I honestly don't think they are ignoring out emails. To be honest, I think it a mail server issue. It doesn't make sense for them to ignore our emails, because it only makes thing worse.

I sure didn't feel that they were ignoring me. At least that is what I think. Internet is far from perfect, and I am fairly sure that the "hops" our emails go through just to reach India or Australia are many and visa versa.

Just keep sending them and hopefully they will get them.

Wishing you luck and 73
Mark
