Loose Part 7000 DLE MKIII

I was doing some rearranging this weekend and when moving the 7000 around heard something moving around inside. It didn't sound like a steel part more like maybe a ribbon cable, maybe a light alloy piece or something similar. The unit is a bitch to open up, so before I do, I was wondering if its something I should investigate. Radio works fine, but I would hate for it to possibly short out something. Thoughts?

While a pain to open it up, it might be a bigger pain financially, to not open it up and be sure what you are hearing.

My relatively new 7000 has a ribbon cable that you can hear shift when you turn it upside down. They told me not to worry about it. Not sure if that is the type of sound you are hearing.

It may be a ferrite core that some of the internal ribbon cables are run through for suppression. In my 200D they can be heard sliding around when I flip the rig over to clean the bottom fan port. de Rob W1AEX
