Ext 10Mhz input level.

Postby GW4NNO » Thu Feb 08, 2024 10:50 am

I have an Anan 7000DLE MkII. I also will soon have a GPSDO 10Mhz oscillator. The output level of the oscillator is approximately +7dbm. I want to know if it is safe to connect this oscillator directly to the SMA Ext 10Mhz input of the 7000. In other words, I need to know what input level range this socket can accept. Obviously if the level of my oscillator is too high I will have to use some form of attenuation between the oscillator and the 7000 Ext 10Mhz input. I can't seem to find any published specifications for the Ext 10Mhz input on the 7000.

That will work fine.
