Hello,
I decided to update Power SDR from 3.2.something to the latest 3.4.9.0. It installed OK, but when I start up I get an error:
"Object Reference not set to an instance of an Object at PowerSDR Console EventArgs e" plus a lengthy list of objects.
Windows was updated this evening and restart of Windows 10 and re-install of PowerSDR did not help. I also tried to delete the PowerSDR directory under OpenHPSDR, but I recall seeing another file a long time ago, which I could not locate today. Any suggestions what causes this error and what that other directory holding OpenSDR date may be?
Running Anan-10 and the latest PowerSDR works on another computer. I just want to have a dedicated computer for SDR even though the computer is subject to crashes when operating HF.

PowerSDR Object Reference error
Re: PowerSDR Object Reference error
also deleted the settings folder? (Database, wisdom, etc)
Can you post a Screenshot from the error message?
Maybe this could also help.

Re: PowerSDR Object Reference error
Hi Erik,
Is it possible that the screen resolution settings are using something other than the default font size? As I recall the message you are seeing is one of many that shows up when the setting is moved from the default 100% setting. Not sure about Windows 10 but in Windows 7 this setting can be found in: Control Panel > Appearance and Pesonalization > Display.

EDIT: I see that Sigi also pointed to this in the post above. Easy enough to check and I think he is right!

Re: PowerSDR Object Reference error
Indeed, the resolution was the problem. It was set to 125% - trying to adjust to compensate for ageing eyesight
Thanks for the suggestions, guys!
